Good quality and perfect size

These are the Birkenstock Medina Flip Flops (Tobacco Brown Leather). I couldn’t find this genuine leather thong model here in California, so I ordered from an Amazon seller in the UK. They arrived in great condition, in about a week. My sister wears the Gizeh model, and I thought about ordering them (since they are sold as “unisex” on the Birkenstock website), but I felt like the thicker straps on the Medina model looked more masculine. I will probably order the Ramses thong model next (it’s also very hard to find here on the West Coast). Sizing can be a bit confusing, so here’s how I determined my perfect size before ordering: You should order one full size down, from your EU shoe size, and 1 1/2 a size down from your US shoe size. For example, I wear a size 9 D (M) Nike running shoe (US), and a size 42 Ecco dress shoe (EU). So I ordered a size 41 (EU) / 7.5 (US) regular width Birkenstock. As you can see from my photo, there’s a slight space between the toes and the heel edge of the shoe, so they fit perfectly (with no slippage, etc.). Birkenstock also offers a printable foot sizing template, on their website (it’s also provided on the inside flap of the box they arrive in). Just measure your foot according to their sizing conventions, and order that numerical size for any shoes in their inventory. Order the next size up, if your foot falls between two numerical sizes. Hope this helps to demystify the confusing Birkenstock sizing mystery!

I read some reviews about this Birkenstock sandal that claimed the product sold on Amazon was a fake copy. I had ordered these before I read the reviews, so after reading the reviews I freaked out and cancelled my order. I then went online to the Birkenstock site and ordered straight from them. They wanted an additional $40 for the same sandals so that helped to drive home the possibility of the Birkenstock sandals on Amazon being fake.Shortly after ordering the pair from Birkenstock.com, I received an email from Amazon stating that they couldn't cancel my order and that I would be receiving the sandals despite my attempt to cancel. I figured, heck, my feet aren't getting any bigger so I guess I'll just end up with two pairs...unless one was a fake!Both pairs came in at roughly the same time and they are both genuine Birkenstock. They look IDENTICAL and are made of the same materials. So I ended up with two identical pairs of sandals, but the one from Birkenstock.com cost me $108. The pair from Amazon cost me less than $70.Needless to say, I'll be buying these from Amazon in the future.For those who haven't worn a pair of Birkenstock sandals, they are really cool shoes. At first they are rather uncomfortable, until they break-in and conform to the shape of your foot. Then they are like wearing a shoe that has been custom tailored to fit just your foot. I get several years out of each pair, and I wear them daily, so Birkenstock will be my go-to sandal forever and always.

They fit fine for length but my guess they don’t make them anymore is because you would need really narrow feet/toes to not have the outer toes hanging outside the sandals. I had to return because I couldn’t take a step without my toes hanging on the edge.

I have bought these for my husband twice. The first time they last 2 or 3 years and he's hard on shoes. They are comfy. They were them everywhere even in the winter. He looks a lot like Jesus with his long brown hair so people call him Jesus sandals because they notice how often he wears them and how they look. Which is great! They were originally a gift, it took him time to get used to the look but after a few weeks he loved them dearly.

If someone hasn’t ever tried Birks and have bad feet. I think this brand is the best. Now you have to find the style that best fits your foot. When first starting to wear them it takes a bit for it to adapt to your foot. Depending on how much you wear could take sometime but don’t give up on them. Once they broken in it’s like putting on something that just makes you feel good relaxed and make you say ahhhhh!

The product is amazing and useful. It is a little bit large for my real size though it is comfortable and I dont believe that I am able to use another kind of sandals anymore after wearing birkenstock

I love the look of these shoes, but they were not as comfortable as the other Birkenstock styles I have owned/worn.

The shoes are great BUT this seller is completely unwilling to accept a return of unworn shoes that took over two months to be delivered because more than 30 days had past since purchase. ZERO customer service beyond kindly worded emails that say they cannot make an exception even though I could not have possibly met their 30 day turn around. Live and learn, I guess.

El producto muy bueno pero en general las tallas que muestran todos los vendedores deberían ser más específicas ya que la marca es Europea y cunado pedí la talla 23.5 el vendedor decía que eran cm y cuando llegó el producto resultó ser 22.5 y tuve que devolverlo e investigar qué tipo de talla ofrece el vendedor de acuerdo a las tallas de la marca.

True to size. Perfect fit. Arrived well ahead of time.
