I bought these for my music and Gaming loving 20 year old for Christmas, as they'd asked for headphones and I was in a budget this year. Initially I was going to buy them a set of Sienheissers as I'd bought my partner them for his birthday and he loved them. But not having the means to do that I did some research and came up with these. For sound, functionality, noise cancelling and comfort they are on a par with, if not better than earphones I've paid hundreds of pounds for. The only difference is these have functioning buttons instead of the buttonless tap function.

I bought the Q30 as an interim set until I could afford to replace my dying Beats. I am so impressed that I'm not actually going to buy another set of Beats! Firstly though, I will say to anyone buying these; download the app!!! It will make using much easier, and will provide setting preferences you won't otherwise be able to use. From what I've seen on other reviews it also helps to sort out any issues you might have. To start, comfort: Anyone who's had over ear Beats will tell you they press on your ears so much it's painful to have them on for more than a few minutes. After a while you get used to that, and only really notice it when you take them off. These bad boys however, are the most comfortable over ears headphones I've ever had! My ears fit inside the cushioned areas so nothing is pressing on them. Bliss. Pairing: Easy peasy! Press the on button until you get a flashing blue light, find the Q30 on your device and hit pair. If you want another device paired at the same time after you've got the first set up, press the on/off button twice and then pair on the other device. Simples. That being said, I did this last night with my phone and kindle and when I started using my phone the sound from the kindle dropped off even though the app being used on my phone didn't have any sound coming from it, which was annoying. Also wouldn't allow sound from the kindle until the phone was off again. So while you can be paired with 2 devices at the same time, you can only have one in use at a time. Sound quality: For my needs it is excellent. I use my headphones for calls, watching programmes or films, social media apps, audiobooks/podcasts and music when I'm cleaning. So, music isn't the sole or most significant purpose and therefore I'm not one of those who will rave about bass, highs and mids. Not even sure how I would know what those things were. That being said, the soundcore app does let you set up your own preferences on the EQ thingie, so have at it if you need to! Noise canceling: for the first time I can tell what NC is meant to do! It's insane the difference it makes as well. I've seen other reviews saying it isn't the best they've had compared to other sets, but those must have literally removed the world around them because this is pretty impressive. On the app you can also select your environment to tailor the NC to your needs. These also have transparency mode so if you do need to hear what's happening around you you can do so by simply placing your palm on the outside of the right cup for a second. Same to turn it on again. It actually makes the environment louder though, I tried it when cooking and I heard the sizzling more clearly than if I didn't have the headphones on! Battery life: Pretty good, but this is the one area where the Beats win. With those, I need to charge them once a week. Usually turn them on when I get to work, use for calls during the work day and a podcast on my commute - 30 mins either way - and then at weekends use them more frequently for a few hours each day. I've only used these ones for my usual weekend activities so far, and they already need charging up. That being said, it's not that much of an issue as I normally plug mine in to charge overnight anyway and a quick 5 minute charge gives another few hours of use if needed. Portability: This is another area where the Beats are better because they fold down into a small case to carry around. These ones are still pretty big when folded and the case is large! And because the cups are much bigger they aren't comfortable to wear round your neck when not in use, it's like a neck brace! However, my handbag and work bag are big anyway, so it isn't an issue for me personally. Price: There's no comparison is there. Beats= ~£200 for the ones I was planning to buy. Q30=<£50. Overall, I would definitely recommend these headphones. Really impressed so far.

Very comfortable to wear for long periods. The sound quality of media is clear. This is my first experience with noise cancelling headphones, and I must say, I was expecting them to be able to block out all sounds - they do not, however, the level of sound blocking is pretty decent. I wore them on the bus to work, and listened to music at a low volume with the travel setting for noise cancellation, while I was reading and I was pleasantly surprised. I could hear the engine of the bus and the bell to stop, but not the people talking/making noise. I would normally have to blast my music to drown out the people with normal headphones, which obviously isn't ideal. There is a level of static, however, on the noise cancelling setting, which is a bit annoying. They are simple yet stylish. Controls are easy to use, with added ease of access with the app. Bluetooth connectivity is fast, and you can use two devices at once synced with the headphones.

I bought the Q30 and it has blown my mind! I watch UHD Blu Rays from my 75 Inch 4K Tv , But also Netflix & Prime etc I do not have the money to set up a 7.1 or 5.1 home theatre Good news , You do not need to. If you watch even Blu Ray movies with these. It will be the very first time you can hear TRUE QUALITY! It blew my mind, I have favourite movies I own on Blu Rays and I’m hearing sounds I never knew were there. They are better than the cinema , You can buy 2 of them and you & your partner or kids watching Tv during the day will be blown away I let my mum and sisters listen to them on a movie and they both said that’s better than going to the movies , hearing such clear voices and waves in the background is mind blowing how truly amazing they are For the price , and quality there is NOT even a close second to their Quality. With Bluetooth there is no lag , you turn them on and then turn Bluetooth on , on your tv and boom it’s that easy they work. There is an app and it’s super easy to use. And you can pick what you like for noise cancellation and active noise cancellation btw amazing too! I got the blue ones , I love the colour and they look so good , you get an amazing case with them to keep them safe They hook up to the tv and my iPhone and laptop do easily so compatibility is really good and very easy. There buttons on the headphones take about 10-15 mins to get used too , volume up is bigger than volume down , on / off is on a different side with the charging port. Do the touch controls are so easy to use and learn within a few mins I can’t speak on the gym , I am not a big man I’m 5’6 I don’t have a big head and they got perfectly , they also fitted my mum and sister too They are very comfy , I watched 3 movies almost 7+ hours and they felt great , not overheating, I.e getting sweaty Idk what the soundcore ear cups are made of but they are so comfy The battery is amazing! No shock as Ankler make them who are famous and are a brand that are out years & years making powerbanks and much more You do not need to charge them for long. Because it’s USB C they charge fast. Like a new iPhone of Anything with USB C gets hot if left in for hours. If you charge them for 10-15 minutes you’re good for 2 days of audio. Because it’s USB C they charge so fast. I don’t have any Con’s, maybe the case could be a tiny bit bigger other than that I love them and highly recommend them. For the same quality in sound your talk £100’s not £50 You will not be disappointed and it will be the very first time in your life you hear true high quality sound. I do not use them for music but movies and they are so good! I’m now buying the Q45 so not just I also put someone else can watch a new movie pull the curtains , get ur snacks and put them on turn on Bluetooth on your TV *SoundCore connected* Use the buttons but also the Tv remote for higher sound too. They will blow your mind! Do not let a couple of bad reviews put you off. One of my best buys on Amazon ever!

I LOVE these headphones, definitely the best set I've ever used. I'm autistic and have a lot of sensory issues - particularly around loud noises, but also having things in/over my ears. I've tried countless sets of earbuds, which I find incredibly uncomfortable, and I find most headphones too tight and heavy, so I can't wear them for very long. These have been an absolute game changer. They're incredibly light and comfortable, and I can wear them all day without any problems. The sound quality is great, and I love that the app allows you to choose different levels of noise cancellation depending on your environment. The noise cancellation doesn't completely cancel out noise, which I personally prefer as I like to be aware of what's going on around me. You can use the noise cancellation without any audio, which I quite often do as an alternative to earplugs. They also connect with a wire, which I find really useful for gaming. The only issue I've found with this is that you can't control the audio volume. These headphones are amazing and are such great value. I would recommend them to anyone, but they're particularly good if you have sensory issues.

Sturdy. Comfortable soft ear pads. Snug fitting, I might consider running with them on. Fast charging. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Great sound. Amazing noise cancelling, even better than the ones I had before. I hope they last me a very long time.

Only a few days in but amazing product for the money. We'll see how it fairs long-term but on specs and performace it's amazing.

had them for about a month and a half, here's my review. sound quality is great, they are bright and bassy so it depends on if you're into that or not. they look nice, the size is nice. good compatibility with all my devices (iPhone, Samsung phone, Desktop, Laptop) and the Bluetooth range is very far without losing quality until about 100m where it drops off in my experience. touch control is nice and noise cancelling is decent if you are on a train or in a car, but anything else like mid-high pitched sounds just come straight through like normal no matter the mode i choose in the app for the noise cancelling. hopefully they improve this with a software update via the app, but who knows. i think its just a defective pair, but my right side is sounding slightly quiet to my left (tested both sides on the same ear, its not single-sided hearing loss.) it was fine last time i used them but i let them sit for a bit and then they're like this now. the balance on my pc and phone are set to 100% on both sides, nothing in the app is changed and noise cancelling and transparency are off. for now i am hoping to get a replacement pair even though amazon isn't showing that as an option, only return which i can't do as i only spent half price on them as they were on offer and they aren't anymore. i will contact support for a replacement and if the new pair are better i will update my review. they would be 5 stars but that problem along with the kind of mid noise cancelling is the only reason they're not being rated that right now.
