If I ever get married, I want my bride to roll down the aisle on this thing! If we have children, I'll make it into a stroller. For now, it will continue to be one of my favorite pieces of work gear, back saver, knee saver, and constant work companion :) I put this thing through hell all summer long, 700-pound paint and sand drums rolling over bumpy asphalt and wide cracks, and it's solid as the day it arrived! Five wheels make this thing go over cracks you'd expect to get stuck in. But when a wheel should get stuck in a 3" wide crack, the weight is on the other four wheels, so it keeps rolling, like magic! :)

I use these for planter dollies for very large pots. To do that, I install a drain and rot-proof platform. I also pack the caster bearings with synthetic grease and use a marine anti-corrosion spray on the casters' frames and hardware. These are exceptionally sturdy and roll easily under weight. There are only two things I would change. First, there is a small center well, about 3" or so in diameter. That can collect debris or stagnant water unless you clean it out periodically. It doesn't need to be there. The second is the gigantic "ELEFROS" sticker, which when taken off leaves a lot of gummy residue that's a pain in the neck to remove. If you use these in a warehouse or shop, you probably don't care. In a home environment, it's an irritation. Great dollies, though! If you need something REALLY tough and heavy-duty, you found it.

I use this dolly under a 55 gallon drum of glycol. The floor is asphalt and uneven but the dolly glides pretty easily. It was a breeze to pop the casters on the dolly and be in business in 10 minutes. Since it wraps the barrel pretty tight, it doesn't take up any more room than the barrel would. I tie the barrel to the dolly with ratchet straps just in case.

We have a 10-foot tall plumeria plant that's in a huge pot - moving it has been a burden. This heavy-duty drum dolly worked perfectly to make moving a 700-800 pound plant a breeze (it can support up to 900 pounds). The design is nice and clean - matte black plastic with a small logo, and hefty wheels. In the title, I called this a plant mover "hack" because before finding this product, I'd looked at about 30 other products that are designed as plant movers. They either couldn't hold the weight or manage the diameter of my large pot - and they were nearly twice the cost. This product does it all - great value for the money and recommended if you have large potted plants or trees.

Compared to a Many other dollies designed to hold barrels of water, this one is actually superbly made. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the package was the weight. When I pull the bass out of the box, I was impressed right away with just how heavy and well-made it was. The caster wheels were also very heavy duty, and mounted securely by four bolts. With five caster wheels, the dolly base feels extremely stable and with the barrel in place and fully loaded I have no doubts that it’s not going to fall over at any time. I gave this five stars and if I could, I would give it 10 stars and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a good solid well made rock solid dolly base for their 55 gallon water containers.
