This is my favorite Buddha statue. I used to have the same one, but got rid of it for personal development reasons. I'm not a Buddhist, but Buddhism is my most major spiritual influence and first-language spirituality. My favorite thing about him is he is so calm and peaceful. He will abide anything. Through all your pains and failures, he will abide and prey metta for you. My second favorite thing is, like my last statue, he has a "mole", a paint chip and imperfection, as if to represent the dissatisfactoriness of samsara. I initially tried to "pick" it off (I have a picking habit), but saw the dukkha of picking the Buddha, and chose to abide him while he abides me. He is very human looking, so seeing his peace in his dissatisfactory form promotes the contentment in decay and impermanence of life that spiritual seekers may want to live up to. Maybe not the most "home decor" Buddha out there due to manufacturing defects, but it's an excellent spiritual companion, and goes to show how a representation of an awakened master can bring peace in a difficult world.

This Jorae Seated Buddha Statue is a beautiful decorative piece that adds a calm, peaceful vibe to any space. The detail and finish are impressive, and it looks great on a shelf, table, or meditation area. A simple but elegant accent that really stands out.

While some have experienced flaws in structure or the paint application, I found my statue to be exactly what I hoped for. I can't be sure if it's luck of the draw or if the company producing them has improved its creation process. The figure is deceptively light-weight but no less rich in design. I love the black and silver design, its ethereal.

I wasn't sure about this at first because of the color, but the serene expression on this statue is so peaceful.

I’ve spent a lot of money on different Buddha statues over the years, and this one has easily been the best value. It has held up extremely well and still looks exactly like it did when I first bought it. It’s also noticeably larger than some statues I’ve purchased that cost twice as much.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this. I bought it as a Christmas gift, but almost kept it when I opened it to make sure it was in good condition. It is breathtaking. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture before giving it to my friend. She absolutely loved it! The black and silver colors with the beautiful workmanship is exquisite. Very realistic and striking. Amazing deal for the money. You will not be sorry with this purchase.
