3/16 Inch Orthodontic Elastic Rubber Bands, 100 Bands per Pack, Natural, Heavy 4.5 Ounces Gap Teeth Bands

I bought these bands a week ago to test them out (pictures included). Pros: they work. The result in the second pic is after leaving them in overnight (roughly seven hours). (1) My gap closed a good amount in such a short amount of time. (2) They were very easy to use, and they didn’t slip into my gums at all. Even when I brushed my teeth they stayed in place. Cons: Not complaints, as these are to be expected. (1) My teeth wore sore to point where if I tried to bite into something, I’d have to use my side teeth. It was a bearable soreness though. Note that even when the gap closed, if I take the band off right away, the gap comes back. My guess is that I’d have to use the bands for at least a month straight to see permanent results. Still, not a bad amount of time.

I used these because my orthodontist had me wearing them during the last 3 months of my braces. They are strong and don't tear easily. I see some folks on here wearing them around there teeth I just shake my head. Yes they might help you in moving your teeth around but why do you think they make people wear retainers for the rest of their lives after the braces are removed? You guessed right, they will try and shift back! These are not meant to be worn on teeth LOL. Go see a professional for that before you mess yourselves up.

I actually purchased these 3/16 Heavy Orthodontic Teeth Gap Bands to use with my Facial-Flex Facial Exerciser since the bands they offer for the Facial Flex system are extremely expensive --$9 for a three month supply, changing them weekly. Although it is not recommended, I have to use two to get the same resistance of Facial Flex's 16 oz. bands, but I wanted to write this review to let buyers know of the good quality of these bands. Since I stretch these bands two hundred times each time that I use the facial exerciser I can attest to their high quality, durability, and strength that did not diminish over this past week as I used them for the first time. To get 100 of these bands at such a good price of $5.97 is an added bonus and very much appreciated!

First of don't wear them all day because it will cause your gums to be sore. I wear mine at night so that in the morning my gap is closed and I get to be in public without getting embarrassed about my gap. Literally had them for about 6 years now and I mean it works temporary. Use it before an event or date, it does the trick.

You have to have some fairly big teeth to get these to fit. I chose this size thinking that the band would be stretched over at least two teeth, like the photo. Ohhhh no no no. The bands were not tight enough and if I stretched them over the widest part of my teeth, the bands just rolled up to the gum line. From what I've read, this is dangerous since it can cut the gum and nerves in your teeth. I think these would only work if the bands had a wider girth so they didn't roll on the teeth. I'm going to see my orthodontist and look at other options. Will be more expensive but I don't want to risk damaging my teeth.

This made my teeth hurts. Maybe it’s just my teeth or that’s how it’s supposed to be, but it brought me so much discomfort. Get it I guess 🤷🏾‍♀️

These gap teeth bands actually work. After a month of using them overnight on my two front teeth they have almost completely closed the gap. They are thicker than the two other bands I have ordered and seem to fit the best. I am just wondering if I will need to use a retainer to keep the gap from opening up again once it has been completely closed. I would have never imagined that I could save on the cost of getting braces from the dentist when all i had to do was use this simple rubber band on my teeth.

I bought this product because my ortho gave me a pack from a different brand that was latex free but it kept breaking. So I bought this and this was so much better. It was tight but it did what it was suppose to do. I notice a big difference with my teeth after a week. During my next ortho appointment I was surprised to see I was given this same pack I bought off of Amazon. I would highly recommend.

The bands are made of great-quality rubber. I wore them for about 3 months and they fixed my teeth. The bands will make your teeth hurt at first but you will get used to it after. I had to get a retainer afterward though to hold teeth in place.
