This coffee was a birthday present to myself. It was one the best quality coffee brands I ever had. It's very costly so we only drink it on weekends but well worth it! It's so smooth, with just the right balance, not too acidic, not to strong, not too weak, not bitter. It's the perfect goldilocks coffee. If it were not so pricey I would be drinking this everyday! Kona coffee is the by far the best coffee in the world!

Definitely top shelf 100% Kona Coffee! Perfect Roast a super low acidity for a medium Every morning I grind this coffee and set up my drip system. Everyone and I mean everyone in my house is lining up with their cups to get some of this, works great with half n half or creamer and you can still taste the coffee notes beyond the creamer, even black this is a superb coffee! This is not a blend as Kona coffee is required to be 100% from Kona, any other Kona blend means it meets the minimum 10% on Kona mixed with other, this is 100% Kona as I've investigated several other brands, the size of this coffee easily justifes the price. Can't wait to try out Kona Peaberry coffee that Blue Horse sells. All in all buy it and you won't be disappointed.

Kona Peaberry has been my favorite bean for 20+ years, so I may be a little more critical here. While tasting good, it feels a little high for a 12oz bag, but then again Peaberry is much rarer, only consisting of about 5% of the crop. The beans are probably around a grade 85, which is still a good coffee bean, just not quite that specialty grade. The flavors are a little muddled, a little sour forward and a tiny hint of nutty caramel; there is just a feint aroma. I really like their regular Kona coffee and drink it daily. At the subscribe price it's worth it when you compare to taste/quality/price to Starbucks. It could just be a QC issue (or Amazon warehouse) on their end as well, 1 out of 3 bags of coffee from them is vacuum sealed showing no signs of off gassing any more.

This is good coffee and the first 100% Kona a tried. I like it and it has good flavor but to me it isn't better than a good South American at a third of the price.

Every time I sit down with a cup of this Kona Coffee, I get in a euphoric state. Really, I do! And I start posting on facebook about how great this coffee is, and hope others believe the hype and buy them! My partner bought me an espresso machine (Mr. Coffee) so I researched what coffee to get. I found I need some quality beans and an electric burr (Capresso from costco). I like how these beans are grown in the shade, contain no filler beans (100% kona), and comes from small kona farms. I didn't know what I was missing in terms of taste until tasting these beans for an espresso shot. I'll never go back to the coffee house chains! No other coffee beans made me want to give up the convenience of grab-and-go coffee drinks from the dumb coffee chains.. until now! I like to make Caffe Lattes, which is just espresso and milk, no added sugars and syrups, which means it is so important that the beans are high quality. The flavor of these are on point. They make them to order so you truly get fresh beans from Hawaii. Give yourself the gift of quality coffee beans. The price is worth it! Right now, my partner just made himself a Blue Horse Caffee Latte too. Usually he just makes it for me and doesn't join in. I asked him how he likes it and his eyes lit up. I said, "See I told you!" He said it has a great "mouth feel." That's a good description. It is so smooth! I want to gift this to all my fellow coffee lovers now! The only sad thing is they used to sell T-shirts and I wish they still has some because I am obsessed with this coffee. I emailed them about the shirts but they didn't have anymore left. However, their email response to me was super quick and really friendly! That made me love them even more. Fan for life!
