Works well except in instances of human error
I purchased this 300w transformer over a year ago for a LELIT Bianca Espresso machine purchased in Italy & shipped to the USA. It requires a power supply of 230-240V 50-60Hz with a max 1550 watt usage; it is a Dual Boiler: 800 ml Coffee boiler & 1.5 Lt. Steam boiler, both are 1400W (& don't operate simultaneously) & a 150w Rotary pump motor. I choose to get the 3000w versus the 2000w model to prevent over heating; it does generate a little heat. The units as seen in the photo has functioned perfectly but does have a very low hum. It will get warm with prolonged usage. I once accidentally left both it and my machine on over night; before I had engaged the machine's auto off and sleep mode. I discovered it was much warmer than I would have like. Afterwards the unit had a bit louder low hum for several months that has gradually lessen to its first use audible level. It is plugged into a 20 amp GFCI outlet. I purchased the European model because the warm-up time is 12:00 versus the USA model at 20:00 and it was a better price. So I'm not bothered by the inconvenience of the item on my countertop. I don't expect the hum will change from it barely noticeable level as I now always turn it off after using which is normally 0:45 to two hours & occasionally longer but with sleep mode it shuts off after 0:30 of non use; the transformer, though on, will cooled down.

It works
It’s pleasing to the eye in a kitchen. So far it works fine.

Works excellent with 220V Espresso Machine & Grinder
Having this 2 months now I use it daily to drive my Rocket Appartamento and Eureka Mignon grinder - both were purchased in Europe.Makes no noise, doesn’t heat up, well built and actually is the only 3000W transformer that looks like it belongs on the countertop.Highly recommend, I will follow up on long term reliability if it lasts the year, but so far so good.

Works with 220v Dyson
This works with the 220v Dyson Airwrap I purchased from Singapore. I'm soo happy ❤️.It looks pretty decent too, not super bulky. Quite heavy, but I don't move it around much, so it's not too troublesome.

Worked perfectly for my girlfriend’s 220v Dyson Airwrap.
Does the job, lives on the bathroom counter for her fancy Prussian blue/copper Dyson airwrap from Singapore. I could have gotten a smaller transformer with less capacity but I figured it could come in handy if I ever need it for something else. Also it looks nice instead of being a giant unwieldy black box that takes up half the counter.

So far so good
I haev only been using this step up transformer for a week but so far it has been excellent. I use it for a coffee machine and kettle we brought with us from Australia to the US. It neath, tidy, quiet and easy to use. I would recommend getting this.

Does not work with a German Coffee Maker. May work for other appliances
We bought this a while ago and used it with a German coffee maker that needed about 1.600 watts. Didn’t work at all. Coffee came out slightly warm. Had to send the coffee machine back to Germany and kept the transformer.
