Didn't Work for me
The phone functioned as designed, but it didn't work on my cell network which is the only reason I sent it back.

Great phone but will likely not work in your enterprise WiFi environment
Our old Pro 2 stopped working on WiFi, and after all sorts of troubleshooting by our enterprise network team it was determined there is a fatal issue with the OS. This has been documented online as well, and appears to be a result of an Android update that was pushed by the carrier and appears to be unrecoverable. This brand new one had the exact same issue, so it appears it is an Android problem. Works great for calls, but no WiFi operations, so useless for security patrol/access control app operation.

Kyocera Duraforce is hard to get
About ten years ago I went for a walk and got rained on. My T-Mobile branded phone was a brick. They had a hardened phone called the Kyocera Hydro and I switched. I've followed the Kyocera line since and been very happy. As the other reviewer said, the phones are tough. When T-Mobile dropped all the lines of hard phones I stayed with Kyocera, on T-Mobile. I tried three others: a CAT branded phone where the screen broke and the warranty service was terrible, a Nokia 7 that leaked right into the screen (at which time their warranty service was terrible, and I wasn't trying to fix the screen), and a Motorola Moto X. I like the Android One OS on the Nokia, but I guess Google has dropped that.As far as I can tell Kyocera is the only manufacturer of Mil Spec phones outside China. They make Durafore Pro 2 for Verizon (6910) AT&T (6920) and this one for first responders and other industrial specialties. No bloatware that I've noticed. I used a Verizon for six months and it has some intrusive stuff.A successor is coming out, so I guess these 6921s are coming available. I've had it for two months now and I'm happy. check you vendor though- I've bought from cell phone shops on Amazon and gotten 6910s instead of a 6921. No problem with the return, but it was a hassle. This vendor was a packager for proprietary industrial users. I had a couple of e-mails with their marketing, asking some technical questions. Not available today.Update November 2022- 18 months, dropped many times (got thrown down a stairwell once) and I'm still happy.

This device will NOT work on Straight Talk Wireless
It's a great phone and great value for the price. If you subscribe to Straight Talk Wireless and all you have in your region is via a Verizon network of towers, DO NOT buy this phone. It is an unlocked GSM (not CDMA) device that Verizon will not allow on their system.Post Script: I'm no longer with Straight Talk. They pushed an update to disable Wi-Fi calling that bricked the phone. Their EULA allows this. You know, the fine print we never read? Now with Verizon.

Was not unlocked as featured
I really liked this phone but couldn't get it to work because it was locked. Two carriers confirmed this and Amazon couldn't or wouldn't have it unlocked. This is the second cell phone purchased from Amazon that was locked, but I'll assure you it will be my last. Very frustrating!! Caution, just because they say it's unlocked means nothing. Between these 2 cell phone mishaps, I've spent over 7 days running around trying to get them to work. I would warn anyone to beware of buying a used or refurbished cell phone from Amazon.com Services, Inc. that the cell phone may not be unlocked as advertised and they will not go back to where there purchased these phones for resale to have them unlocked.

Thanks for the shaft, don’t appreciate being ripped off
Thanks for ripping me off Amazon, I purchased this phone to go back to an android and this phone was sold to me by the seller and it is not usable because it’s only 4G. It is not compatible with AT&T nor any other carriers so I have no idea who it’s compatible with, but I just got ripped off. I had it activated on April 14 with AT&T and they ran into complications, but they did manage to activate the phone to make calls but it is conflicting and stating that it is not compatible with AT&T.I am very ticked off over this ordeal. I just got screwed out of $155.14 ..Thank you Amazon for ripping me off, the seller should take this phone back and refund me, but I have not heard a word from the seller. I don't appreciate getting ripped off and I'm probably not going to do business with Amazon anymore because of this. This is not the first time that Amazon has screwed me and probably will be the last time. Amazon is just not the company that they used to be. They don't care who they rip off now. I have posted pictures of the item and what it states on the sellers webpage, but Amazon keeps taking them down to hide them from the public.

Was definitely factory unlocked and works great!!!
Have had it for months now, working perfectly, went the to T-Mobile store, all they did was swap my sim card, no new one needed and I was good to go!

Very laggy, extremely poor camera quality, short battery life
It does seem to be decently durable so far. However, even on that front, the charging port cover is poorly designed such that the O ring failed and is no longer protecting from water (the whole point of having this overpriced phone). It feels like a cheap phone from 5 or 10 years ago, as very basic apps cause it to freeze up. Worst camera quality I've ever had, and the battery doesn't make it through the day. If this phone cost ~200 it wouldn't be a bad deal, but after spending so much I'm dissapointed
