Purchased this light to deter bats from landing under the eves of my roof. The bats would hang up under the roof edge and relieve themselves down my siding. The bats guano is hard to remove and I would need to pressure wash the siding. I read that if I light the area they will find a new place to rest. Installation was incredibly easy and the whole system is very light. It has worked perfectly and the bats are gone! The entire unit is white but the cord from the solar panel to the light is black. Maybe the manufacturer could make this cable white in the next version. Great value for the money and throws quite a bit of light. I’m very pleased with the purchase and quality.

Decently bright nothing crazy. It stays on all night which is what I wanted but by morning time it is pretty dim. Overall not bad for the price

Had this 2 yrs now(2026) and it’s going strong. It is not dusk to dawn. By 4am it is dark. During a power outage here in Houston I used it inside as it got dark and shining on the ceiling it had light for the whole living room. Never thought of using solar lights at dark inside til you go to bed.

After being hospitalized and going through rehab, I was unable to install the Jackyled 299-LED fixture for several weeks. When installed it did not work. Because the Amazon return window had passed, Amazon advised me to contact Jackyled directly regarding the product's 3-year warranty. I contacted the support team on May 21st and corresponded with Lisa in customer service. After I explained the situation, Lisa confirmed that the fixture would be replaced under warranty and asked for my shipping address. I provided my home address on June 3rd. Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up emails but have not received a response. I do believe that they have any plans on honoring the warranty and replacing the fixture. Buyer Beware of this company.

Bought 2 lights, Nice and bright for about 5 hours, Disappointed 1 light didn't last a year, solar battery does not hold a charge. Cannot open solar battery to check, Sell doesn't respond.

I bought two of these in 2021 two different times. I never left a review but I found myself needing about 12 more of them now. I wanted to say after 5 years they are still working. They are not the brightest but they do their job and they have functioned for 5 years. I wish they were a little brighter but knowing they have been working for 5 years I will be buying several more for our new project.

This product only lasted for a month and not working anymore. The charge lasted for less than 4 hours after charging for the whole afternoon in the sun.
