I've been using this cage for seven months now. I bought it to downsize from the taller cage my quaker used to share with her companion conure before he passed away. She's getting older and her feet pain her sometimes, so I wanted a cage that was easier for her to climb around in. I had expected to her be a bit weird about the change for a few days, but she immediately took to this one. The horizontal bars on two sides are spaced nicely for her to climb on without it bothering her feet so much, and it's a good size for roaming and playing in without her having to clamber a lot to get anywhere she needs to go. I'm pleased with the fact that it's heavy and sturdy. and didn't flinch that time I tripped and caught myself on it. The powder coating has proven resistant to my quaker's habit of chewing on her bars. It's a generous size for one small to medium parrot. I wouldn't put a budgie in it due to the bar spacing, but a cockatiel or larger would be comfy in here. I also like that I can switch the floor grating and the seed tray. My quaker likes wandering around on the floor and foraging among all the kibble bits and treats she threw out of her dish earlier, so I just tucked the grating in the slot underneath so she can wander around directly on the floor. The cage can disassemble, but it doesn't do so easily, so cleaning it is best done with a hose or scrubbing. It's heavy enough to need two people to get it up and down stairs, but the wheels make for super easy movement on flat surfaces.

I like this cage so much for many reasons. I have owned several bird cages and many types of birds and parrots. Therefore, I have much experience with many cages throughout the years. The instructions could have been a wee bit better, other than that, lets get to the good points. It was easy to put togeather, no tools required. It is easy to clean. They can be fed, without sticking your hand in the cage and feeder doors and main door will lock into place if required. Moves around with ease. Best of all, my African Grey Loves It. You do need to take care sliding the food bowls in and out. If they are standing on the bird feed bowl holder, you could hurt thier feet, but I have seen this with other type of cages as well. I have only had this one a little over a month, but so far I really like it, So much, that I have ordered another on today for my other African Grey. Hope it arrive in as good as the last one, they packaged it very well.

Arrived very quickly. Very easy to assemble. Nice quality & easy to clean. Like that you can remove the inside dish holders if you choose to. Our Conure has ALOT of room to enjoy. We added extra perches. (Java Wood Multi Branch Perch - Small - 16 in. x 1.2 in.) and (Super Bird Creations Peekaboo Perch Tent, 18 by 12-Inch, Large Bird Toy) It comes with a branch type wooden perch, not just a dowel rod which was very nice, a good size for our conure. We also added a corner shelf which is wonderful! (Prevue Hendryx 3100B Cage Corner Shelf, Black) and added hanging sun deck shelf to outside (Prevue Pet Products Large Patio Sundeck For Birds) He is very happy with his new bird cage estate! Just a note: Our bird isn't an "escape artist" so we have no issues with the latches, some birds may figure out a way???

I bought this cage but was disappointed there were all kinds of parts missing

I purchased two of these cages for my sun conure. She has 1 in the master bedroom, and 1 for the den. During the warm months, we put the den cage out on our backyard patio for her to spend some time outside. We do not bring it back and forth and do not cover it. The paint has withstood a couple of years (so far) of weather changes. Sun, wind and early morning moisture have not effected this cage in anyway. The wheels are not fixed in the stand, so if you pick it up, chances are they will come out. Rolling it doesn't effect the wheels. The ease of cleaning this cage is wonderful due to all of the removable parts. I would definitely recommend this cage, although I wish there was a cover that was made for it.

I've had this cage for a bit now. It's a great size for a Senegal parrot who needs lots to do while I'm working. I really like most of this cage except it has a couple of design flaws. The cup holders are not very good. It arrived with one out of alignment and was difficult to use. They sometimes fall off on their own. The major problem are the latches. The little screw bolts work their way lose and will eventually strip the hole. You also have to be careful if the bolt falls out, your bird will be able to open the door. The latches on Prevue cages are much better.

Quality caster wheels, seed guards around edges contain messes, doors are a great design so bird can't escape on his own. Love that the playtop can be removed. Perfect width of bar spacing for a medium sized parrot, such as our Galah. Only complaint is there were several pokey spots on the finish that we had to file down. Thankfully the manufacturer included touch up paint.

Sadly (because I absolutely love this cage given the fact that the trays can be arranged with the flat tray on top) I have to report that the corners are rusting and the spindles that go through to the top of the dome are all rusty on the tips. An update on the situation. Midwest is shipping me a new dome top. Very easy company to deal with. So I change my rating from one star to five star.

I bought this cage for my Amazon. It is easy to assemble. The door is large enough to give you proper access for setting up the inside and cleaning. The paint is excellent quality and makes cleaning a breeze. My bird doesn't like the metal rim that keeps the feeder in place. However, the folks at Pearce Plastics make an acrylic 10 oz Smart Crock that fits snuggly over the metal bowls (my husband had to file off the attachment part of the crock but it is well worth the 10 mtes job). The cage is large enough to set up multiple toys to keep her busy and allows her to move around. After a period of adaptation Chipper loves her new digs. She stopped complaining when I put her in and is a much happier bird. I highly recommend it.

Awesome cage, super easy to assemble, really good size for a mid size parrot Cleans up really well with soapy water.
