is this appropriate for my 11 yr old son?

It comes in a beutiful display box with 3-D image on the front (which opens up to show the figure and accessories). There isn't any blood/gore on the box at all, only the figure itself displayed in various positions copied from the actual film. It really is a beautiful figure and has been a proud addition to my collection. Personally speaking, when I was 11, I would have loved to have gotten this as a gift.

Is this action figure safe for fish tanks?

I don´t think so, the figure contains several small pieces that can get loose, especially with the water movement and was originally not meant to be an ornament in a fish tank. It may not be safe for fish.
