Great for solar applications.
Sealed well with epoxy. I plan on connecting to a 48volt battery bank and a switch to turn on/off and to derive 12 volts DC to operate/recharge small 12 volt devices. Nice cast aluminum heat sink. Fuse protection with an included EXTRA 20 amp fuse. I will place my own connectors on the short leads (they could be longer) but I can manage with the leads on it. One application I see is to recharge a small solar generator off of a larger battery bank. I like it.
