809 Heavy Duty 5" Inch Diameter Vehicle Fire Extinguisher Bracket - Black

very well made, heavy duty I used it to mount a 10lb extinguisher on a CAT track machine.

This bracket would be great for non-marine environments. It’s sturdy, strong, and has several mounting hole options. My extinguisher is about 5.25” in diameter, and is labeled as weighing 17 lbs. Unfortunately, I bought it for use on the deck of my pontoon boat (large commercial boat, 35’ x 10’). With the splash and spray I get from salt water, it has degraded to the point of needing replacement in 1 years time. The bulk of the mount is fine, but the latch and hasp are rusted and fatigued from operation. I’m certain it will work well for a non-Saltwater environment.

I have a 2.5 gallon Amerex fire extinguisher on my horse trailer. This bracket made for the perfect was to secure it just where it would be out of the way but easy to access when needed,

We mounted the bracket on the wall in our RV Garage. It is subject to the rigors of road vibrations but seems to be holding up fine. It is a very solid unit.

Excellent quality. It fits perfectly in my Jeep and holds my CO2 bottle very securely .

Amerex designed a unit I need as a licensed family childcare provider--a sturdy bracket that safely stows an extinguisher so a ball can't knock it down. What they didn't provide is any mounting hardware, anchors or a pin to hold the extinguisher in place and I can't tell you how frustrating that is! Mine is still not on the wall after two months. Where would I even find the right pin? I would be grateful if Amerex would contact me for help acquiring the needed items, and start including them with every order (with instructions, please). Looking forward to hearing from you or other purchasers who have found a solution.
