I thought I was buying a cheap little sealer to get me through! How wrong I was. This vacuum sealer has great features and is so easy to use. I love the cutter on top that cuts from both directions. I would buy this unit again. IT operates easily and is quite sturdy for the great price!

I’ve had this vacuum sealer a little over a week and I’m genuinely happy with it. I bought it to help me organize my food better, cut down on freezer clutter, and reduce food waste, and it’s already doing exactly that. I’ve used it to reorganize both of my freezers and the difference is immediate. Vacuum sealing saves a ton of space compared to bulky containers and random half open packaging, and everything looks cleaner and more organized. It also makes it easier to portion things out, so I’m not defrosting more than I need, which is a big part of why I wanted it in the first place. Performance wise, it functions really well. It seals quickly and the process is simple once you get the hang of it. I did have one issue the very first time I used it where it didn’t seal properly, and I was nervous because I had seen reviews mentioning that. Turns out it was user error. You have to lock it down until you hear the click on both sides. Once I started doing that, no more sealing issues at all. The only small downside is the bags it comes with feel a little thin. It’s not a dealbreaker, and for the price I paid it’s honestly not a big complaint, but I personally prefer thicker bags, so I ordered a heavier duty set. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s quick, works well, saves freezer space, and it’s going to help me waste less food. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re trying to get organized with meal prep or freezer storage.

Just purchased this to keep Biltong from drying out. This machine works very well. I will probably use it for my meat and ready made meals as well. Good value for money. Manual is a little lacking in the initial setup. Inside the unit are 2 white plastic pieces that are to be placed in slots. These white pieces are to help position bags. The manual does not mention these at all.

Compact, easy to use, and gets the job done. The one-touch function makes sealing quick (around 10–20 seconds), and it works well for both dry and moist foods. I’ve been using it for meal prep and it definitely helps keep food fresher longer. The built-in cutter is a nice touch and makes customizing bags simple. Seal quality is good overall, but I did notice that sometimes the vacuum could be a little tighter, especially with softer or moist foods—you may need to run it twice for the best result. For the price, it’s a solid value and a great option if you want something simple and effective.

I'm genuinely impressed with the MegaWise 2025 Vacuum Sealer. I've been a loyal user of another well-known brand for years and have always been happy with it — but when I moved and needed a replacement, I decided to give this one a try at roughly a quarter of the price. I'm glad I did. This machine works like a champ. I can seal bags one after another with minimal pausing or delay, and the suction is strong — it pulls out air and creates a tight seal quickly and efficiently. For the price, the performance is outstanding. And honestly? If it ever does give out, I won't think twice about buying another one. That's how good the value is.

This my second vacuum sealer and this is best thus far. Perfect for buying value packs of meats and separating them to freeze for future use. Easy to use. Great value for the price. I also buy the pre cut bags from Amazon, larger size can be cut for smaller quantity storage

This works OK, but I wouldn't want anyone to get the impression that this device (or any other similar inexpensive vacuum sealer, I suppose) can do the job that can be done with, say, an Avid Armor Chamber Vacuum Sealer. For one thing, the vacuum that can be pulled with the Avid Armor (or similar "professional" model) is WAY, WAY stronger than what this vacuum sealer can do. For another, the bags are of a much lighter gauge, with much less strength/durability. The result if that you won't get the kind of elimination of oxygen that will truly extend the life of your food, and the tight seal that will completely eliminate freezer frost and freezer burn. By comparison, it is kinda a toy. (I'd use this for things that I would use a zip lock bag for, not serious food preservation.) If this is what you can afford, it might be helpful in sealing things up, but as an aid in meaningful preservation, I think it is being oversold.

I love the compact size and ease of use. Vacuums great! The product worked great for a year and a half. Then it wouldn’t vacuum properly. I contacted customer service and they said it was the seal. The seal is currently out of stock so they are replacing the machine. Great customer service. Only reason not 5 stars is that It took an hour on chat to get it resolved.

Excelente maquina para resguardo de alimentos al vacio. Hemos enviado carne de chinameca sin problemas de que nos la rechacen en la paqueteria. Quedan bien selladas las bolsas. (Bolsas hay q comprar por separado).
