Great starter fishing rod for kids
Great first fishing rod for my kids! Everything fits into the easy to carry case. The colors are bright and they loved picking out their favorite color for their fishing rod.

Ok
The idea is great. We love the bag to carry the pole in and the travel size tackle box. However, the reel fell off after 3 casts and wouldnโt work right afterwards. The other one the handle to the reel came undone after minimal (less than 1 hr).

Nice starter rod
Awesome little rod and comes with a convenient little travel bag with a small tackle box for the kids! Even comes with a little tip book for the kiddos! I had an issue with my reel already in a birdnest when it came in, i receiced a speedy replacement so no biggy! My only issue with the rod is the handle, im not a big fan that the comfy grip doesnt come all the way down, so its not as comfy in my hands but maybe its not as big of deal for children. All in all, great deal on a little beginning fishing rod!

Broke after 5 minutes of use
I took my 5 year old fishing for the first time today. About 5 minutes in the fishing pole broke. We did nothing but cast it. I would understand if we dropped it, we didn't.

Works for my 5 year old
I like the weight of the rod and reel. My 5 year old can cast it well and the retrieve is smooth and easy for him. Could use a hook holder near the reel to attach a hook while you are walking from place to place. Remember to replace the line on the reel when you get it.
