ProKeeper Deli Food Storage Container with Air-Tight Seal and Dry Erase Lid

I have tried all sorts of deli keepers: Tupperware, Rubbermaid, a German brand I acquired in Germany, and Ziplock bags. All of them worked to an extent, but none of them kept bacon, sausage or ham fresh up to my standards. It got worse when our family switched from pork bacon to turkey bacon. Any fan of turkey bacon knows that it gets a bit slimy after the package is opened. Not slimy gross, but sort of wet. And depending on how the opened package is stored, the bacon can get downright drippy. I do not know what the magic is for this particular deli keeper, but when I put the turkey bacon in and seal it up, the next time it is opened, the bacon is moist and fresh and not wet at all. I admit I was skeptical about the price. Almost $15 seemed rather steep. But the construction of the deli keeper is top-notch and how truly fresh it keeps meats makes it worth every penny. I also really like the closing mechanism. Give a little push, then lock the seal. Then it opens with a flick--no struggling to peel up an edge. I handwash it only because it is bulky and takes up a lot of room on the top shelf of my dishwasher. I cannot attest to how well it holds up in the dishwasher. I will note that it DOES NOT hold odors. (I threw out my Tupperware deli keeper because no matter how much I washed it, it developed an odor; the Rubbermaid version stained and smelled; the German brand stopped holding a proper seal after a fairly short time.) Great find and terrific bargain. Highly recommend.

Title: Practical, Versatile, and Easy to Keep Clean This is a very practical food storage container. It easily fits an entire cooked tray of the 3 lb Sam’s Club thick-cut bacon, and I really like the clear lid because you can immediately see what’s inside instead of forgetting about it in the back of the refrigerator. The seal is good and the latch closes securely. I’ve also run it through the dishwasher propped open with no damage, warping, streaking, or residue left on either the clear lid or beige base. Overall, it’s a well-made, versatile container that I would definitely recommend for a variety of food storage needs.

Love it so much. It is perfect for bacon or sausages. And it has such a sleek, nice design. It fits perfect in your refrigerator. it’s safe space and really extends the life of your meats.

Was a little bigger than I thought, but it still is good

Holds one package of Farmers Dog food perfectly! We needed something to store our dog’s food in the refrigerator and this was the perfect size! Tight seal and easy open and close.

I love this container for my deli meats. Keeps them from getting slimy until they are used up. I'm sure it will do well with bacon, but I usually cook the full package of bacon. This is a good product.

As listed, it works perfectly to keep my wife from leaving loose bacon all over the refrigerator. So highly recommended.

The container itself is nice, I'm just a little disappointed that the clear plastic part of the lid was scratched badly and is visible, I was debating with myself weather to return or not and have missed the return window now. For the price paid I expected better quality

Excelente, plastico duro, se ve de buena calidad y durabilidad. Es bastante grande (largo sobretodo). Le cabe fácil 1 kg de queso o jamon rebanado (como vienen los paquetes del super), como es largo, tiene capacidad hasta para guardar de 2 tipos, o rebanadas largas de tocino y salchichas jumbo sin problema. Por lo gral los compro y a la semana comienzan a echarse a perder. Pero en este contenedor ya llevan 2 semanas y continuan como si nada! Muy recomendable!
