Loma Linda - Plant-Based - Prime Stakes (13 oz.)

It’s delicious!

Good size, texture, and flavor. The gravy they’re in is tasty. Easy to prepare, and filling. I will buy again.

I bought this on a whim because I don't like other imitation meats but I am floored by how great it is! I have Alpha-Gal Syndrome and have not been able to eat mamilian meat for 5 years! I had to stop myself from eating it right out of the can! I cannot wait for dinner tonight. Thank you for this awesome product!

I love these they taste just as good as they did on those Saturday afternoons when we were in church waiting for service to be through so we could eat! My Gramma is SDA and their church practices vegetarian/vegan and clean eating. I myself am not a vegan but I bought these bc I was craving my grandma's food and in order to have some I needed these. These aren't meat but they are similar to a Salisbury steak from a banquet meal. Not in taste but in texture. My only complaint is the price when we first started buying these they were like 6.50 a can then it went up to up 10 I used to be able to find the big cans for ten. The price wouldn't be so bad bc I understand things goes up except that the size of the patty is also noticably smaller... It's crazy to be paying almost triple and the patties look thinner by at least a third. So...no love them and of course I will buy them again but probably not till next year the price is a little steep for how small the patties are now

I have always liked the Prime Stakes, we have a couple cans with some kind of potato (baked, hash brown or tater tots) and a vegetable. A nice filling dinner for a Saturday afternoon.

It does taste like meat!

I bought these for my daughter, a vegetarian, who many years ago used to eat meat. She said they were excellent, tasting like Salisbury Steaks, and that they were large portions (4), enough for two meals for her and her fiance. She said the gravy was very good and that her fiance (who loves meat) thought the Loma Linda Prime Stakes were incredible. She said they could be used for burgers as well. I will be buying them for her again!

I have enjoyed Prime Stakes for years, but something is very different now. The texture is stodgy. The flavor is bland. I feel sad. I've ordered several cases over the past couple years. I guess I was hoping that I just got a weird batch and the next case would be better... but no. They must have changed the recipe at some point. Maybe others will like it, but I will not be ordering any more (unless they fix the recipe).
