Dayton Audio ND105-4 4" Aluminum Cone Midbass Neo Driver 4 Ohm

This thing hits. Replaced my 4" logitech subwoofer and i need to upgrade the box now. This over powers the port. Sounds amazing. Im pondering building a custom box for my truck and powering 4 to 8 of these. The performance shocked me. Definitely an upgrade. I cant imagine any 4" speaker hitting quite like this, especially at this price point.

The specs on these matched up pretty well with the volume and port tuning on some powered bookshelf speakers I was working on and these made very fine replacements for the original drivers in those cabinets that were not well suited for the application. The tiny speakers now sound much larger than they are and much better than they did. In the proper cabinet with proper tuning, these are definitely winners especially in this price range. I would not hesitate to use them in much more ambitious or costly projects at all.

I use this driver for a Bluetooth speaker. It's hooked up as a sub and it does get loud and low. It can go as low as 30hz. It looks beefy while retaining a high end look. For the price it is a very good deal.

Haven't connected them yet but purpose is to install under my dash in truck Built extremely well. I live Dayton audio products they are gnarly good and will probably just redo my truck in Dayton audio

I'm not sure what I expected, but this Speaker wasent it. The mid bass driver is good for what it is, but it doesn't fully do either job. Out side of building a small to medium Bluetooth speaker, or indoor tower speaker, I cant see many use. Outdoors it's not very applicable. However it does alright for a 4" in the mid bass department if your not to far away.

These were better than the Bose they replaced in my 2011 A8L. Since the speakers weren't an exact replacement, I cut fiberglass mounting brackets for a perfect fit.

Wanted to use these as ive had good experiences with Dayton audio before. They sound good paired with a set of full range soeakers. Only issue is it wont mount in a car application without modification.

Quite an amazing little speaker. Big sound for a little guy. Planted this into a 4” drain tube and tuned and ported. Rattled the windows! I wanted something that could bring big speaker sound to my car with minimal footprint and this really does the job.

Good quality. Aluminium cone is nice, build quality is good. Strong magnet is small, frame is lightweight, so takes up little airspace in the cabinet, though it is quite deep which means it has a long displacement and can therefore handle a good amount of power. Installed in small cabinets it's never going to shake the roof tiles but for its size and price I'm very pleased with it.
