Mobil 1 High Mileage Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-20, 5 Quart

I’ve been using Mobil 1 High Mileage in my vehicles and have been very happy with it. The 5W-30 viscosity is easy to find and the full synthetic formulation gives me some extra peace of mind when it comes to protecting an older, higher-mileage engine. The oil pours easily, the bottle is easy to handle, and I like that this particular formula is designed for vehicles with 75,000+ miles. Mobil 1 specifically formulates the High Mileage line to help with deposits, sludge, wear, and leaks in older engines and improves gas mileage while helping to cool the engine. For routine maintenance, this is one of those products I don't really have to think twice about. Good quality oil from a brand I've trusted for years, and the 5-quart size is convenient for a typical oil change. I'd definitely buy it again.

Outstanding deal for the people that do it themselves. Is there really 5 quarts in the bottle. No there is not. Used mobil 1 for years and it is always a little short when it comes to the oil dipstick level when using their 5 quart bottle. My cx-5 mazda takes abuot 4.8 quarts. And had to pour all this 5 quarts in it just to get to the middle of the dipstick. But still I wouldn't use any other product for my vehicles. Even though they hustle me on their measurements.

There's not much I can say about motor oil that most people don't already know, so I'll just tell you about my experience with this brand. .. I have used multiple brands over the years and the lives of my cars. Mobile 1 has been the brand I returned to every time due to cost, quality, and availability. Even this last time, I picked up this 5 qt full-synthetic high-milage oil from Mobile 1 for use in my 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander SE with over 110k miles on the odometer. The oil change timer went off and by that time, the truck was very sluggish on the takeoff, so I placed the order for this and a filter. When they both arrived, I went to changing the oil immediately. Once done, I reset the oil life timer (I try to keep it to every 3.5k or 4k miles), started the truck and let it run for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate through the motor and filter, checked the oil level one last time, then I took it out for a quick drive. One thing I noticed, the performance of the truck from when the oil was old and had miles on it was completely different after the oil change. While an oil change does not make the vehicle drive and feel like its brand new, it definitely does restore most of the lost power due to oil breakdown. It didn't bog down when putting the pedal down to the floor like it had just a few hours earlier. The fuel economy counter also showed better numbers after the change, so there's that. (Next time I'll monitor the before and after mpg to post here.) And I spent roughly $35 and about 45 minutes to completely drain the oil, clean around the filter housing, and reset the counter. Quoted at a local oil change shop at $56 and would take up to 3 hours. Next on the maintenance list, spark plugs and a new intake filter. Oh the joy. lol

Purchased for a customer’s oil change. Mobil 1 is fantastic oil, one of the best. Full synthetic 0W-20. Would purchase again.

Going on two oil changes now with this oil in my 1990 wrangler. No issues. Swapped out the oil filter at 3,000 miles. Oil still looks clean!

This motor oil keeps my high-mileage engine running incredibly smoothly and efficiently on my 2015 Tahoe I have noticed a significant reduction in engine noise since switching to this synthetic oil.
