Had an old BBQ that had nothing wrong with it apart from the metal plate at the top had corroded. Found this and it fitted perfectly. Price is a bit steep but its cheaper than paying for another BBQ of this type.

It appears fine and fits my bbq perfectly.

I have been considering purchasing one of these for a number of months but was put off by the price - probably as the whole Blooma BBQ cost me originally about twice the price of this piece of metal. Then this weekend the old shield finally rusted away and broke and so i had no choice but to replace it or buy a new BBQ. As the BBQ was in good condition i decided to replace the shield and am pleased i did. It arrived quickly and is so much better quality / thicker metal than the original, and fitted perfectly. Yes its expensive, but cheaper than a full replacement and also gives the existing BBQ a new lease of life. Recommended.
