Powerbuilt Power Steering Pulley Remover Tool Set, Jaws Lock for Easy Removal, Storage Case - 648644

Needed this to remove a sprocket on an old Honda motor and it worked perfect! The right tool for the right job.

Disclaimer: I didn't use this for the purpose intended, so bear that in mind. I needed to pull a cam sprocket off a motorcycle crankshaft, and a puller of this type was recommended. It worked perfectly for that task. At this price, it's obviously Chinese made - but quality and design appears excellent. It has a very wide range of adjustment. The block is not square - it's wider on one side than the other, and all faces are slightly convex allowing even more adjustability. So, the width on top primarily depends on which set of block faces you attach the puller arms to. The thumbscrews for the lower section of the arms, might not even be necessary - they weren't in my case, but they are nice to have.

It did the job

This puller engaged the lip on my Volvo P/S pulley effectively. Probably should have heated the pulley with a torch first since this puller was strong enough to pull the lip off the puller before the pulley could move from its shaft.

The product works great very easy use.

I haven't used the product yet however, upon opening the case, (sealed with tape) found that the red handle pictured in the product description and tool instructions was not in the case. Crud!
