Yes, the pan is 48 cm and made of uncoated carbon steel and therefore must be "seasoned" to protect the pan and create a non-stick coating.

Is this coated non-stock

No, it is raw steel that needs to be seasoned similar to cast iron. ASeason with vegetable oil in oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes turn off heat at let it cool down in oven and repeat 3 more times. It will have slick brownish color. Add a little oil with each use and coat with oil after cooking/storing. Once seasoned it's ' like' a nonstick coating. I use a cast iron spider under Griddle pan to keep bottom off the flame and getting too hot (burning off seasoning). Hope that helps.

It must be properly "seasoned" before use and may require more than one seasoning to properly protect the pan and create a natural non-stick coating. If you are unfamiliar with how to season a pan please follow the instructions online. Like any good uncoated pan with proper care and use it is designed to last a lifetime, without worry about toxic materials in the non-stick coating or that coating wearing off.
