You using to get rid of feces that sit there and grow bacteria, and so many germs if you are worried about shampooing and having so of the shampoo or pretreat once done take carpet shampooer or spot cleaner only use water and nothing else and go over it and it will help rinse some of the product out either treat your carpet or upholstery or what have you with chemicals or leave it for germs and everything else to grow and spread as walked on over and over and spreads you have your choice

your instructions state, in part, “ for use in full-size deep cleaning machines: including hoover, bissell and rug doctor, when used as directed” but?
