I brought olive oil home from south of France in my suitcase and it leaked all over a skirt I had just bought. Nothing worked getting the stains out until I bought this and soaked it for an entire day. I had to wash it a few times after to get the chemical smell out but there are no stains left. Its worth it.

Korean BBQ. Its my favorite food. I especially LOVE cooking up some of that pork belly and dipping it in the salty sesame oil mixture and wrapping it in a lettuce leaf and dipping it in that gochujang. HEAVEN. I also happen to be the CLUMSIEST, MESSIEST eater in the world. My boyfriend says when I eat, it's like I have a hole in my mouth and I'm starting to think he's right because I not only dripped sesame oil on one BRAND NEW Shirt but TWO brand new shirts. As I sat down on the floor, looking at my flannel and at my very polyester blouse, I thought, "NO. I will NOT throw these shirts away! I WILL FIND A WAY!" So off to google I went. I can't remember the site I found with this information, but it told me to first treat with NON-BLEACH de-greaser (I used a dishwashing detergent) to pre-treat. I then washed both blouses in cold water and while it helped a LITTLE for the flannel, it did NOTHING for the blouse. The second step was to order this stuff I am currently reviewing. I saw the reviews and my hopeful little self purchased immediately. Fast forward to A WEEK after oil stainage and I finally use the Carbona treatment, skeptical but hopeful. BUT OH MY GOD. A MIRACLE. THIS STUFF COMPLETELY REMOVED THE OIL FROM BOTH FABRICS. I thought I was going to cry. I'm wearing the flannel now and I just looked down at where the stain used to be and am CONFIRMING it's removal. It's a miracle. AN EARLY CHRISTMAS MIRACLE. I mourned the loss of clothes I had sullied with oil before discovering this product and am now hopeful for my messy ass self because I know it's going to happen again when I eat Korean BBQ again. Like maybe today.

Like another reviewer mentioned, the seller puts a bar code on the instructions. I have been using this as a pre-treater instead of using a white cloth under the stain and blotting it with my finger until gone as the instructions state. It is impossible to see if the stain is still there once the fabric is wet! The stains still came out after 2 or 3 washes, and did not damage the shirts. I have a bunch of cheap tees from Meijer that Clorox 2, Shout, and Spray & Wash with Resolve ruin. They have all left white stains or removed the dye, which is just as bad as having a grease stain. While I think $7.39 per little bottle is overpriced, it saves me money in the long run. I just wish my local stores carried it! Edit 7-17-14 I found that I have had better success by rubbing the spot remover into the stain and letting it sit several hours or overnight, especially if it is an older stain. I noticed that even if the stain is cooking grease, other Carbona removers might do a better job. The one labeled "Blood, Dairy, and Ice Cream" does a good job on beef grease stains (and toothpaste and coffee). I managed to find many more varieties of Carbona at Walmart (brick and mortar, not online).

This is a go-to item, been buying it for years. If you’re clumsy like myself it will save you a lot of nice clothing.

Really upset, this product discolored a $60 Under Armor hoodie, only worn for a few weeks. My kids wipe their hands on their shirts sometimes so I thought this would be a good stain remover. I'd like my $60 back, Carbona.

This stuff works great! All of them do! My favorite is the cooking oil removed. For oil stains.

All products in the Carbona Stain Devils work fantastic. We are a commercial laundry and we use these, sparingly, on the toughest stains for table linens and originally purchased the whole set of bottles. They are expensive to buy (especially bringing them into Canada), so we use them only when we need to, and then wash in hot water. I also use the one for fat & cooking oil, and the one for ketchup, etc at home. This stuff works even on older stains or if the garment was already washed & dried. Used sparingly it can be a lifesaver for a garment that might end up in the trash.

This is probably the best product I have ever used to get out grease and oil stains and I've tried them all over the years. I used to dread getting an oil spot on clothing as it's impossible to remove in the laundry. But this product is truly amazing! I just dab it on the grease stain, throw it in the wash and it comes out like new. So easy and no more stains! I hope they never stop making this. It is fantastic and I would highly recommend!

Don’t waste time looking for any other stain remover and don’t waste money on ones that don’t work. This did the job first time as I suspected it would. I’ve never been disappointed by any in this range.

very small container, doesn't work as good as I expected

A lot smaller than i expected! Tried it for pen ink stain and it helped a little but didn’t fully remove it.
