Catalina Crunch Protein Cereal, Honey Graham, 9 oz Bag (Pack of 4)

This has the protein and no added sugar. Still it has subtle sweetness and great crunch. Sweetend in part with monk fruit, a little exotic at first, but you’ll get to love it fast.

I am looking at the age of 32 and I am getting too old for kiddie cereals (because I can taste the sweet cubes in it.) I saw an ad for this cereal. I wanted to give it a try because I wanted to have cereal again for the sake of nostalgia and without going into a diabetic coma. Cons: Tastes like chalky graham crackers. Pros: The chalky taste is not much of a deterrent especially if you do not like the taste of most of surgery cereals. I did accidental eat the entire bag over an evening of binge watching [insert Netflix program here]. I did pay for that though. I had the most ungodly bowel movement into the wee of hours of the night because of the fiber content. I know... TMI. Anyway! If you are a sufferer of constipation... this cereal will help resolve that.

If you're on the keto diet, this cereal should be zero surprise to you. It tastes like stevia, if you're not used to the taste compared to sugar then you're going to have a bad time. It's also, like all keto friendly prepacked food, priced higher and with smaller portions. I've been on the keto diet for a while so I don't expect to eat a standard size bowl of anything prepackaged and stay within my carb limit, that's just how it is. So what is this cereal good for? Snacking. Got family or friends chowing down on popcorn for movie night? This cereal is the perfect snacking food. It's also great to bring to work in a pre-portioned container. What does it taste like? The honey graham mostly tastes of stevia but there's a lingering aftertaste of honey that's quite pleasant. It's sweet without being too sweet, not like kid cereal but a bit sweeter than grandma's bran flakes. I think the sweetness is just right. Stick to your basics for breakfast because this won't cure your hunger pangs but it's a nice treat to have on hand. My bag has lasted me a week so far, which I think is fair for the price.

I’ve tried other protein cereals that I really enjoyed, but Catalina Crunch Honey Graham just wasn’t for me. The flavor has a strange, unpleasant taste that I couldn’t get past. It was awful! It was so bad that I couldn’t even finish the bowl. For me personally, it was money wasted, and I honestly wish I could have returned it for a refund. I really wanted to like it, but I’m just not a fan. That’s simply my honest review.

I bought almost every flavor of these protein cereals, I just need to try the fruity ones. So far, this Honey Graham is my second to least favorite flavor. I’m not sure if they’re supposed to be a dupe of a Graham cracker cereal, but they don’t taste like Graham crackers at all. My favorite flavors of Catalina Crunch are peanut butter & chocolate and strawberry streusel. They’re definitely a good quality snack, non GMO, naturally sweetened with stevia & monk fruit. They’re very crunchy, and they don’t get soggy in milk. There a bit pricey, but I found all of them on sale, some here on Amazon & some at Target, so it wasn’t too bad. Even though they are naturally sweetened, they have that funky aftertaste that some sweeteners have, and they would be better if they were a little sweeter. They’re not bad at all, they just could be a little better.

It stays crunchy, it has a strong flavor of something but not honey. It is a good source of protein but I will try to get it someplace else. Maybe I chose the wrong flavor. I will watch for other s to review them.

Ya lo he comprado varias veces y me parece la mejor opción en cuanto a cereal, sabe rico, aunque es un poco duro, pero se va ablandando con la leche.
