I love the quality of this product. It cooks to semi-firm tasty grains that are filling and feel healthy to eat. You can add anything to them - pine nuts, lemon, olives, and yogurt, for example. However, I've bought this product several times over the years, and the price has increased by a few pounds since I first started buying it. It now makes it a bit of a treat to eat, and I've spread it out at 130g servings for two people per meal, with a total of six portions spread out over 12 months. A bit precise, but at least I can get my freekeh fix at intervals, as none of the stores in my area stock this grain.

Lovely nutty taste. Great quality and good value for money. Very healthy alternative to rice and cooks in 25 minutes.

I had never tried this before but needed it for a recipe I was following. Found it on Amazon and it is excellent. Really excellent. If you have never tried it, give it a go.

I always make the traditional Middle Eastern Freekeh dishes (Freekeh with Chicken or Freekeh Soup) and usually get my Freekeh from back home. This time, I tried this brand as I ran out from the batch I had. The flavor is nice and overall tasty. This brand however lacks the smokiness I normally enjoy as it's not roasted well enough like the one I buy from home. That said, you can get that smoky/roasted flavor by roasting or stir-frying them with some onions for 4-5 minutes before boiling with water or chicken/vegetable stock.

Love freekeh. It is easy to cook, just rinse, toss in salted boiling water and about 25 mins later it's perfect. You might need to drain some water off, but it's not fiddly and doesn't get sticky or anything. Slightly chewy and nutty, it is like chubby brown rice. My kids love it, my husband loves it. I think it has more protein than rice or even quinoa. Enjoy!

Had this product before. With my husbands diabetes we eat a very low carb diet. Although it's a green wheat it is OK for diabetics as the body doesn't turn it into carbs like it does rice. We prefer it.

Espectacular, no lo había probado nunca, conozco bien el tema de cocinar y masticar el cereal en estado puro por cuestiones de salud y motivaciones macrobióticas, está tan bueno que no necesita condimentos, tan solo cocerlo en agua con un poco de sal.

The shipping was $19 and hidden in this product which is bland and lousy quality. Don't waste your money or time. Amazon should remove these companies that extort the customer on shipping
