These flags are great for keeping in your truck when you need to haul overlength materials and a safety flag is needed for travel on public roads. Also it's good to carry one in your backpack when you are on a compass bearing and you need a waypoint marker if you have to deviate from your route.

Purchased these to carry in my backpack for hiking or biking--if you loose the trail or deviate from the trail they can be used for way point markers---establishing a search radius within view of the marker--I removed the bungee's for more compact storage and can re-clip with a carabiner or pre-cut 36" or 48" length paracord---can be used for ground cloth--log seat cover--kindling gathering--liquid strainer--mosquito face net--flagging aerial search and rescue in extreme situations...

Flags pull through the grommets very easy. Not good for use with magnets
