Out of frustration, i may not buy these.  what are the amber for and what are the rose for? why amber and rose? no info except about amber. ?????

Both are tinted lenses which filter certain types of light, for reducing eye-strain and photosensitivity symptoms. The DARKER colored ones (called "rose tinted") which look somewhat orange-brown in color are FL-41. (You can Google what this is; it is especially useful for migraine sufferers with photosensitivity.) The LIGHTER colored ones ("amber") supposedly filter MORE light, but also cast everything with a yellowish tint. (FL-41 lenses tend to be expensive, and this is a very affordable price-point for trying them out to see if they help your specific needs. As a migraine sufferer with high photosensitivity, these confirmed for me that FL-41 tint ("rose", the darker pair) is VERY useful for me, and allows increased "screen time" (phones, tablets, computers), and are useful outdoors and indoors. (Neither is polarized, which is a separate thing intended exclusively for outdoor protection.)

I don't see an option for small? Are these small or large? Thanks.

From top to bottom the lenses are 1 5/8" and the width across the top of each lens is 2 1/2" and tapers down to 2" at the bottom. My glasses are smaller than the clip on size, but works for me. In the past I've had some similiar, and cut and polished them down to fit another pair of glasses. These don't seem to bother me. I hope this helps you.
