This was my first taste of genuine black caviar, and it did not disappoint. It was an absolute treat. I tried it with, what seemed to me very unusual pairings (which were recommended to me by an expert) plus two of the classics, ie coffee, banana, egg and salmon. I was very pleasantly surprised by the first two, despite being somewhat sceptical! I would definitely recommend this product.

I’ve been buying this product for years and it never disappoints. There’s absolutely no fishy smell and the quality is consistently excellent. It’s definitely an expensive item but perfect for those moments when you want to treat yourself to something special.

It was good, delivered cold as it should be. Caviar itself was fine although lacked the crunchy "pop" as you bite individual eggs. certainly inferior compared with oscietra (not that much more expensive) or beluga (significantly more expensive). Next time would buy another type. BTW in this case I would go for wild salmon (red) caviar.

I thought I would try this particular caviar - the price was reasonable for the amount and type and the previous reviews were good. Bit of an understatement... The attention to detail was brilliant - the small tin arriving in its own chilled (with ice-packs) polystyrene box to ensure that the caviar arrived in perfect condition. The taste was delicious, not overpowering but light and subtle - matched with some Mulino Bianco Unsalted Crackers and a nice glass of bubbly and a perfect little storm of taste was experienced - very, very enjoyable and something I will certainly consider (and let's be honest - this is a rare treat!) buying and enjoying again.

Can’t fault the quality of this item in any way. A big treat for us and wish I could have it every week.

Delivery was faultless but the caviar itself was very disappointing. I was going to describe it as slimy, as that is what it was, then I read another feedback comment that described it as 'mushy'; a much better description. A shame and perhaps I have been spoilt in the past, as I've only ever eaten caviar from Russia before, which was definitely very different and certainly not mushy, but firm. For the price and as a special treat for my family for Christmas, it was very disappointing indeed and I wouldn't buy this again. In fact, I have just bought some lumpfish caviar from a well respected supermarket and it was very good. It 'popped' in my mouth and didn't have that mushy consistency. But... at the end of the day, it depends on our taste buds, which vary from person to person. We all have different reactions to the same food. £4 or £78.28?

Ein echtes Genusserlebnis mit Luxus-Charakter, das sich ideal für besondere Anlässe eignet. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut.
