Camera protection - does the cutout provide full protection of th back camera? Is it raised above the camera?

There really is no protection for the back camera when the case is closed (i.e..covering the screen). But I love the case. It is sturdy, has deep grooves for resting the ipad at an angle, swivels to use vertically, holds my stylus/pencil, works well to put the i-pad to sleep and wake it up. I only wish it came in brighter colors! And the price can't be beet!

why does the wake / sleep function not work. Is there a replacement that does work.

Are there only the two angled viewing positions or is there a 3rd lower angle one for typing (like many other cases of this design)?
