Queen Size 3 Inch Thick, Gel Swirl Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress Pad Bed Topper Made in the USA

This mattress pad was heavier than I expected due to the large amount of material the pad is made with for the King size! We both waited a week to give it an honest review. The mattress pad is compressed but after 10-15 minutes I had it unrolled and put it over the couch the fist night to allow it time to expand. It only took a few hours to start taking shape and was full by morning! I did notice the strong but mild fume odor when I walked in the living room the next morning. That evening I put it on the bed and it covered every square inch and the sheets went over it and the bed with a little finesse! The true test has been "us" sleeping well and the maximum comfort and support it provides. It actually takes the weight off of our bodies and places it at the hip or thigh. We both turn alot less and that means better blood flow and a great nights rest! The fume odor is fading and barely noticeable now unless I catch a wiff of air as I'm settling-in to bed. No odors that wake us up or give us a headache! Its not that kind of odor. Its a non toxic odor from manufacturing! Kind of like a new car smell. That's what it is its just a brand new unused smell but as I said its fading and I suspect it will be completely gone in the near future. Love this mattress pad! I do recommend and we would buy it again! Meets and exceeded our expectations. Worth every penny, as our new mattress, itself, was too firm and cut of our circulation causing our arms to fall asleep and we would be tossing and turning all night! That is why we bought this matress pad to cover our uncomfortable mattress in the first place! Love it! Love it! Love it! I love and she does too!

Exactly as pictured! Order arrived on time and exactly as expected, in a small box rolled up and not ready for immediate use. I opened the box, gently rolled out the twin mattress topper and let it expand to correct proportions. A warm room works best, 70' worked perfect for me and the topper was ready to set up less then an hour after opening! My tweens bed was bad, this topper makes me want to buy one for MY mattress and my other two children's beds as well!! Worth every cent! I also noticed no scent, at all from this pad. My daughter was thrilled with the new pad and is sleeping great now! Very comfortable and dreamy! It felt comfortable after laying down on it for about 15 mins, not hot like other memory foam mattresses! Stop reading, just buy it, you won't be sorry!! In love!!

I was experiencing discomfort while sleeping, so I went in search of a memory foam mattress topper and found this one. My husband really didn't want one, so I had to make sure whatever I found would stay cool so that he wouldn't be uncomfortable. I found this topper and decided to try it once I read the reviews on it. I am now sleeping better at night and my husband is, as well. It does not seem to trap heat, which some other memory foam toppers do. It comes compressed and wrapped in plastic. When we first opened it, it didn't seem like it was going to fit our king sized bed. We followed the directions and let it sit for 3 days before we slept on it (honestly, I think it could have been slept on the first night). Within an hour of receiving and opening it, it expanded to its proper size. It did have an odor, but I didn't think it was unbearable and it eventually went away. We are using this on top of our sleep number bed and we are both happy with it. I realize that everybody has different sleeping preferences, but this is working out well for ours. My husband likes a very firm bed, and I like something just a little softer, but not to soft. With this, I can set my sleep number to an 85, which gives me support and the memory foam relieves some of the pressure. The memory foam is not density rated, so I can not say what density it is. All that I can say is that it comfortable and also provides some support. I think the 3 inch thickness is perfect. EDIT: I added 2 photos to give an idea of what the topper actually looks like. The one photo makes it appear green, but it's more of a blue color. Lighting was poor. EDIT: In the last week I really noticed that this mattress still has an odor. There are times when I don't really smell it, and other times it's a strong odor. I updated my rating to 3 stars because initially I thought the odor went away, which it did NOT. My husband is much more sensitive to the smell of this than I am. I don't know why the odor comes and goes. Maybe the weather change or it may be that I just don't notice it as much some nights. I have no idea what it is, but I would love this mattress so much more if it did not smell.

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite happy with this topper for how relatively little it cost me. A TempurPedic mattress of the same size would have run me about 20X as much. I've been sleeping on this for nearly a year and it hasn't become compressed. It's still comfortable, fairly supportive, and feels the same as it did when new. I personally might have preferred a firmer texture, but I can't complain as it's still way better than the mattress was alone. My only issue with this topper is it is hard to clean. It tends to absorb perspiration and is dang near impossible to get stains out. There are now dingy, brown-ish regions particularly on my husband's side as he sweats quite a bit in his sleep. I've tried blotting with large towels and using an enzyme-containing product designed for pet stains. Nothing's worked and I am rather fastidious about cleaning and not afraid to use as much elbow grease as I can muster. So I've had to get a waterproof mattress protector to keep any more moisture from seeping down into it. The stains that are already there I just have to live with. A note - I was alarmed when this thing first arrived. It was compacted so tightly into a small container for shipping that I was sure the angles in it would never straighten out. Not to worry. After letting it sit out on the bed for a couple days, it was right as rain. No more weird angles from where the foam was cut on the sides. Also, it does smell rather strongly of plastic chemicals straight out of the box. That also dissipated after it aired out and flattened.
