Can you switch the time display completely off at night even with the alarm set?

Can you use it without sound, only with light? Thanks.

The sound comes in quietly at the time you set the alarm for but the light starts half an hour earlier changing from a deep orange glow up to a nice natural summer yellow. The sounds aren't very loud and I find the quiet bird chirping sounds almost like there's a bird outside the window. But if you prefer not to have sounds at all there are other Philips light alarm clocks without sound, or if you just don't want sound occasionally you can always switch it to radio and turn the sound down.

Bulb Replacement? Any issues with longevity? Has anyone had any bulb issues with this device? I'm worried that after a while the bulb will go and render a £100+ device useless, well apart from being a radio. I am aware that the bulb cannot be replaced. Also what warranty do Philips provide and is it covered by the …

My daughter has had this light for 4 or 5 years and the lamp has just failed.... Very disappointingly there is no way to replace so either you use it as a clock / radio or you buy again for the wake up light functionality.... I get the answer about LEDs being the normal but you must be able to replace the light (that's the main selling point) for £10, £15 or £20 when the whole thing will set you back over £100.

Can you please tell me if it is 110 - 220 v? I need it to work in the United States. Thank you for your help.

From the user manual, page 5: "The adapter transforms 100-240 volts to a safe low voltage of less than 24 volts."I unplugged the adapter to look at it and it has 100-240 volts stamped on it. From that, I conclude it should work.
