This actually wasn't my first choice for a travel mat, but it was the only one that would arrive overnight to the hotel where I was staying. It's perfect for a travel mat! It's not the lightest weight one (which is why it was my second choice), but it's still way lighter than the mat I use at home. It's a decent thickness to provide some padding, and if it's not enough you could always use it on top of a beach towel or something for additional padding. For me, the main thing is grippiness. I thought I could just do yoga anywhere but I tried it in the hotel room on a beach towel and it was terrible, because my hands and feet kept slipping in poses like down dog. This mat has great grip, and really I think that's the main thing you need to do yoga anywhere. It folds up so it's easy to throw in your carryon bag, which a rolled mat wouldn't be. I did notice a faint rubber smell on it when my face is close, like in child's pose, but it's not strong or too chemical, just smells like rubber. I hope that will start to fade but we if it doesn't, it's not a deal breaker. Glad I got this!

Great travel mat. Folds easily along compressed hinge points formed into the mat. Stashes easily in luggage, and lays out nice and flat when you're ready to use it.

It is an excellent product. It is a bit bulky. Not as slim as shown on online. It fits inside the carryon spread across. Fully folded takes too much space. Has enough cushion. The width is almost the same as the regular one. I liked it. It serves it need. I think is durable. Good stability. The smell doesn't really matter to me because it will go away. I would purchase another one. I had to leave mine abroad because of the space. I couldn't bring it back.

Thin and slight waxy feel to it, causing me to slide slowly if I’m not wearing socks. Otherwise pretty cheap and does the job. I’m 5’8 and when lying down it fits me perfectly. Love how it folds.

Bought a few of these to help my dog post TPLO surgery. We have wood floors throughout our home, and instead of buying a ton of area rugs (which would've been expensive) we decided to lay a few of these out for him to catch his grip a little easier. I figured it would make him a bit more comfortable, too. These wound up being great, I love that they can fold up for easier storage and they dont slip around on hard surfaces. These were a life saver in a time of need, and now I can use them for yoga!

I purchased this mat to do yoga during an extended travel period. The thickness is adequate so that I can use it comfortably on hard flooring. However, because of this, it takes up a significant amount of space in luggage for travel. After just a few uses, this mat has started to flake small pieces all over, creating an uneven surface for yoga practice, as well as a mess to vacuum. Therefore, I would say that its quality is not the highest, but seems to be in line with the low price.

This folding mat is perfect for my needs. It fits inside my smaller gym bag and that's what I wanted. I do not like using the gym's mats (yuck) but hate having to carry a yoga mat with me, and the roll up kind do not fit in the gym lockers, so this one is so very convenient. It's cushiony enough to do my stretches comfortably. It's wide enough for me but note this isn't as wide as a regular yoga mat. Long enough for me as well. I think the length is in line with regular yoga mats. It did not slip around but stayed stable on the surface. I am very happy with my order!

I teach yoga and don’t want a heavy mat to carry between classes. This mat is ideal as it’s light weight and folds easily without fuss , fits into my carryall allowing space for other equipment and resources. Beautiful colour choices . No smell. Good value for money. Not as robust as others I’ve had but suits my purpose for teaching

I bought this mat to travel with. I'm very pleased because the size in my suitcase was great. Better than one of the roll up ones in my opinion (took up less space). Obviously for every day use it's a bit thin, but that's why it's awesome for travel. Folds up easily! In half lengthwise, then zigzag back until you see the logo.
