Instant compliment-getter
I love this scent and was immediately complimented on it when I got to a party. It's rather different from regular English Leather. The regular EL (which I also love) to me evokes rye whiskey and caramel. This one is woody, musky, with a faint trace of tobacco but also sort of ineffable. Very understated, pleasant, and masculine. Reasonably priced, too.

Pl;easant smell but not the same as original English Leather cologne
It has a much different fragrance than original English Leather cologne but is still pleasant. I just prefer the original fragrance over this one.

This is not the traditional English Leather splash
This is different from the original English Leather. It's not only a spray instead of a splash, it does not smell the same. The seller shipped it promptly and well secured from breaking. It's not bad, but if you are looking for traditional English Leather, this is not it.

My grandfather used the original English Leather. Now I’m using English Leather Black. It has an awesome sent. I love it.

Smells like pepper
Not at all as good smelling as the aftershave. Definitely a spicy smell but not worth anyone’s time. I’d wear it if that was maybe my only choice, but even then, the aftershave is were it’s at.

Not the same
When I was a teenager in the 60’s, this cologne was a must have item. It had a very distinctive aroma. Girls loved it. This is not it. This product has a chemical odor that doesn’t even smell like cologne. It is not the same.
