Question 1

How do i get the sanding drum to go into the collet nut?   It just doesn't open enough for the stem of the drum.

On my grinder, the instructions didn't work.  No matter how hard I tried to force the stem into the collet nut hole area, it wouldn't go in.  If you still can't get the attachment to fit into the hole, do this...Remove the collet nut completely.  Then pull out the copper-colored insert (this is what you are supposed to put the stem into).  Now, force the stem into the hole to open it up a little.  Then pull the stem back out and reassemble the insert and collet nut, but don't tighten it yet.  Push the stem into the insert.  Now it should fit without any problems.  Finally, tighten up the collet nut.Rather than typing out the same instructions you get in the box, or telling you to call customer service, Dana should have just told you how she finally got it to work.

Question 2

Where can I get new replacement bands? Do I have to buy the whole 10 dollar kit each time I need new bands?

I'm not sure where to get them now, but years ago I bought about 50 from the company who made the original Peticure.  (I bought so many because I wasn't sure if the company was going to go out of business before I really needed to buy more.)  Of course, I had the Peticure grinder at the time, so where else was I supposed to go?  Come to find out, they fit this Wahl grinder, too.  So, see if you can find any from the current Peticure (or whatever they're called now) makers.

Could you please tell me which color for the pet nail grinder do you like the best ? blue or purple or white or black ??

I don't think the color matters. I use the blue one. Are you asking about different models that are different colored?

How long is the electrical cord on this grinder?
