Okay, so I wanted to write a review after being skeptical of this product and having used it to install my floor. So let me start with the short version: this thing will do what you need it to do, but it might crack boards on the rip cuts. I'm just some guy - I'm not a professional or anything and I'm frankly too much of a coward to buy a table saw. The last time I installed LVP, i used a jigsaw, and that leaves a lot to be desired. This tool is almost perfect for end cuts, and it saved me a lot of time and shreds of plastic on the rip cuts. I think if you really take your time and kind of "half-cut" the boards and then fully cut them, you can get clean cuts, but I'm too lazy for that and it's just in my basement so some of my boards have some cracks at the end. I'll live. If you can live with that, this is a great product, and it's great for idiots like me. I can pull a stick.

This is a well worth having tool for laying vinyl plank flooring. Generally well made, quality product. Great for both perpendicular and lengthwise cuts. Slight tendency to crack plank on long, repeated cuts. Only true negative is the rip guide tends to slip from position on long cuts. Blade stays sharp for quite a while and there is a supplied stone for sharpening, only did once through 600 sq ft of flooring. While you can make box cuts by moving the blade I choose to not readjust the cutter everytime and used a scroll saw. If you are doing a large floor, or several jobs you absolutely want this tool, beats getting up and down and running out to a saw and then cleaning up the dirt. Good value!

Perfect cutter for floor installation. This allowed my helper to cut and lay out the floor in front of me. All I needs to do was keep laying.

We recently did two rooms with LVP flooring and this was a tremendous help. It's a bit of a pain to move the blade around and that function could/should be simplified. But the blade stayed sharp throughout the project. It will cut lengthwise without problem in addition to cutting the planks to the correct length. If you needed to make a small "U" cut in the center of the plank you will need to make at least one cut by hand or with another tool. 45 degree cuts are a breeze and will cut other angles as well you just need to carefully line up the blade. If you DIY, or plan on doing a lot of LVP flooring I recommend you get this.

Works well for basic 90 degree cuts and some angled cuts but broke boards when attempting to do full length rips

I used this to put rigid vinyl planks in our house installing in my kitchen. It is easy to use and saved me tons of time. I was able to make straight cuts with very little effort. I would recommend it.

Device is obviously used. No instructions, handle is to big to fit on cutter. No screws to hold handle on if it did fit. Honing stone broken. Complete trash.

This product works very well once you get used to doing your cuts..very sharpe and saves allot of time plus no mess..
