Wiring is incorrect on one of the switches.
The wiring is incorrect on one of the switches. I too replaced my originals with these and got an I-Key error. I had to take everything apart and replace the switch with another I bought at an electronics house. After the change, everything went back to normal. It's a bunch of hooey that the shifter assembly has to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Doesn't REALLY work for my 2013 Altima
I've had issues with the shifter being stuck in park on a 2013 Nissan Altima. I tore everything apart and replaced the two sensors with the ones from this kit and it seemingly worked flawless and I put everything back together. The next morning when I started the car I got an alert that said I-key error refer to owner's manual. That error sent me to Nissan because it's not recognizing the smart key, which could lead to not being able to start the car. When they dug into the problem it led them back to the shifter console and they said the shift console had an internal error and needed to be replaced. That was the entire reason I got these was to prevent having to replace the entire shift console so while it did fix the shifting problem it did not solve anything. In addition to the key error Nissan also said it had a code now for a CVT judder that hasn't been there in the past, which according to Nissan means the entire transmission needs replaced to the tune of $4,200, however I suspect that the code was caused by these parts as I have absolutely no transmission problems, and I took it for a 2nd opinion at a local transmission shop and they don't think anything is wrong with my transmission. They advised me to disconnect the battery for 24 hours to drain power from the vehicle and hopefully reset the code (because you can't clear that code with a code reader) and then see if the code comes back. Overall I think these parts caused me a major headache. I sent them back.

Not for a permanent solution
It worked well for about 3 months and then it broke again. It’s good for temporary solution until you’re able to get your fixed professionally.

Doesn’t fit a 2013 pathfinder
This product does not work on 2013 Pathfinders. The plug ins are wrong, Manufacturer said you have to replace entire shifter component. I found a brand new one on Amazon with the updated switches.
