I purchased this because my old one finally crapped out on me. This pressure gauge has been a complete game changer. I really like the fact that it’s built rugged and heavy-duty, so it feels like it can take a beating in the garage without any issues. As a DIY person who is always working on something in the garage, having accurate and precise air pressure readings is extremely important. This gauge makes it quick and easy to check and adjust the pressure in car tires, truck tires, and even bike tires. The readings are clear, consistent, and much more reliable than my previous gauge. Overall, it’s a solid tool to keep around the garage, especially if you regularly maintain your own vehicles and want dependable performance.

The tool is good quality and accurate within the allowable range. I use this professionally and it performs well. Great price , The MAC tools version was $150.00.

Very good tool for inflating tires. It measures pressure accurately and works quickly. The air release function is also very convenient when you need to lower the pressure. The only downside is the quick-connect chuck. You have to press it firmly against the valve and hold it with your hand, otherwise it can leak air. Overall a very useful and well-made tool.

Until I got this, I was laboring with a cheap pressure gauge and a coiled compressor hose that seemed to have a poor connection to the valve stem. It was painful to (A) fill the tires of my golf cart and (B) get a good read on the pressure. This digital tire pressure gauge solves both issues perfectly. First, the hose that comes with the device clamps onto the valve stem very securely. No hissing air sound. Second, the digital readout tells me when I’m at 20 pounds, to the tenth of a pound. It works beautifully. What I’m not clear on is how it all connects to the compressor. It seems as though I might have an older compressor with a female threaded connection. This means an adaptor is used. See photo 2. This works fine nonetheless.

With the fridgid tempratures, I have not been able to try my new AstroAl tire pressure out properly. But I did try it out on a spare handtruck wheel and I can see it is sensitive to pressure changes because the inner tube had a hole which I patched, but then the valve stem was leaking where it attaches to the tube, which is not repairable. So, at this time I will say the gauge seems to be very good and I will write a better review in the future.

Other than changing air chuck, works good. Definitely cheaper than Matco brand.

i would do a 3.5 but it'll have to settle for 3. I want to like this gauge but there's a few issues with it that drop the rating down. Like almost all tire inflators have the single side clip for the valve stem, which are all garbage, this one is no different. While it has more spring tension than most it still leaks and you have to press down hard even when clipped to a valve stem to get it to seal without leaking. There are dual lock collars for tire inflators that grab the valve from both sides now that insure a tight fit. 2nd thing that is very annoying about this unit is, you have to hold the trigger down 100% to get air flow through the trigger. If you are even at 99% trigger pull it discharges the air out the body of the inflator- its not acting like a valve, its more all or nothing. One the same topic of the trigger pull- in order to see the current pressure after releasing the trigger- it dumps some air also out of the body of the trigger which is loud and annoying every single trigger pull when just trying to see the pressure. This reminds me of truck air brakes when you engage or disengage them, they dump some air. Aside from those 2 issues and if they were fixed (the lock can be swapped out at an extra cost) but the trigger valve is a different story) its feels like a quality unit. I just cant get over how loud the discharge it just reading the pressure. Positives: Gauge swivels to read from any angle and has all the pressure ratings built in Hose is decently long to reach stuff trigger is large- use your whole hand instead of 1 or 2 fingers and its large enough to wear gloves while using it. Body of it is plastic so it wont freeze your hand if using it in cold climates like the metal ones do.

Works great. Bought this for my garage for cars and bikes including a flat tire ebike that with low psi tires. It was pretty much impossible to inflate them accurately with the original analogue gauge but this works perfectly.
