I’ve traveled extensively in the Pacific and no the benefits of kava. On a physiological level it relaxes the lower spine so it’s the perfect product for someone with lower back pain or restless leg syndrome. It aids in sleeping as well. Most cava is somewhat dirty and needs to be filtered or strained. This is a wonderful product because it’s clean and doesn’t require strraining. You can simply pour some into a small water bottle, shake it, and it’s good to go! That’s a huge improvement over a traditional kava which isn’t so easy to prepare.

One of the downsides I usually have with instant kava mixes are that it is usually a little weaker, little more expensive and sometimes has a weird taste. But i didn't get that with the Kava King product. I absolutely love mxing this stuff with my iced coffee during the summer, I put about 12oz of ice coffee into a shaker bottle with 2-3 teaspoons and shake for 20 seconds. After that I get ready to chug away and it really doesn't taste that bad, much better than some of the "earthy" stuff I've tried before and it really was instant. You gotta love the bad it comes in I would say its about 5 inches wide and 8 inches tall and the kava is sealed in a ziploc bag inside of the "straw/hemp" bag. I was a little disappointed the straw bag's drawstring doesn't work as smoothly as I though because I wanted to re-purpose the bag but I'm sure I can still use it for something. Overall best instant mix I've had thus far and it's a decent value considering it's prime eligible.

After reading a few articles on kava and watching several videos by "nutritional" experts I decided to give this a try. This was one of the first kava products I have experimented with. Kava root is quite bitter and I found the easiest way to drink this was to put the powder into a strong blender with some soft drink product (e.g., cherry Pepsi), blend and then drink rapidly (yes, CO2 pressure will build during this process). Within about 10-15 min there is a mild relaxing/calming effect but by no means are you going to get "high" off of this product. Do not consume alcohol in conjunction with this product. Most likely this is best consumed when you can sit back and just simply relax; however, I don’t see any real physical impairment that would prevent you from doing normal daily tasks. I recommend the user experiment first in their spare time when they do not have any pressing tasks to take care of in order to ensure they do not have any adverse experiences.

This was my first (and likely last) foray into micronized kava. The product tasted less like kava and more like some kind of grain. Hard to explain, but it was definitely not a kava flavor.There was little of the expected numbing of the lips you get with decent kava. And the other effects were similarly lacking. In fact, my anxiety was heightened due to the next set of observations, and that makes the product about useless to me.I'm pretty good at drinking kava, something I do regularly to help control my anxiety. I'm used to the taste and rarely if ever have difficulty swallowing the drink. Except here. Every swallow was met with an uncontrolled gag reflex. I dang near puked several times trying to drink less than the recommended amount in more water than recommended. And the nausea stayed with me. The following morning I felt hung over, still queasy, and worse yet, incredibly anxious because something was obviously wrong. Gave it time while drinking my preferred brand, then tried again.Same results.It seems to me this is not at all good kava. It doesn't smell like kava, doesn't taste like kava, and doesn't have the expected results of kava. Quite possibly this is that non noble type folks are always on about. Maybe it's the rice they use in their process. I don't know and I don't care, this will be the last I buy from this vendor because of my experience.

Pros: it's extremely easy to drink and very smooth.Cons: it's a pretty low quality product. I've been drinking kava for 9 years and have tried a lot of different brands, strains and have experienced many different levels of quality products, this is not a very high quality product. I've had some pretty weak strains stronger than this. Vanuatu is not supposed to be this mild even for an instant mix.If you're a beginner at kava and still wanna try it it's not horrible. Amazon is where you go for cheap kava not quality kava, honestly it's worth spending the extra money and going to a site that specializes in selling this stuff.

The convenience of an instant powder means that it's not going to be as good as regular kava, but sometimes you don't have the time to make regular kava. This is a really decent product, gives a nice warm, relaxing feeling. The taste is something between sassafras and licorice, all in all it's not bad - numbs the mouth for a minute or two. I use a heaping tablespoon and mix with about a shot and a half of water. I repeat every 15 minutes until I've had enough.

This was disgusting! Don't know where anyone would say this taste good. I tastes like cardboard and looks like sand from the desert. Who knows if that is what you are drinking. Something that isn't even supposed to be consumed, that is what I got out of this. Took a few sips and threw it away. There was no way I was going to drink anymore. It had no taste or flavor, as I said it tastes the way cardboard smells. Luckily I was able to return this but never again. I've been trying to figure out how everyone likes this and I can't figure it out. The saying goes, that if it tastes bad it's good for you, but not this product.

I have severe anxiety and depression. This stuff works great and really helps to calm me down. Some people said this was weak but I've found it to be rather strong. I take a teaspoon (dry in my mouth then flush ) every day. If I take more than a teaspoon I actually start to notice a buzz.This stuff is much stronger than capsules which didn't seem to do anything. I highly recommend this for help with relaxation.
