Primefit HRM38100 Manual Air Hose Reel with 100ft Capacity using 3/8" ID Air Hose

I mounted this Primefit hose reel on an old fence post in my driveway, and it installed perfectly. All the hardware lined up, everything tightened down solid, and the reel feels very sturdy and compact. It’s incredibly convenient to have the air hose right outside — I can air up the car tires, blow out the interior, pump up the bikes, and handle small jobs without dragging equipment out of the garage. Some reviewers mentioned it’s not really meant for outdoor use, so I added a small wooden cover above it to protect it from rain. With that simple shelter, I expect it to last a long time. Overall, very happy with the purchase and how well it works.

I like that it can hold a lot. I had an issue where the handle came apart and the spring popped off. Luckily I was able to fix it.

Amazon's cheapest air hose reel is decent for what it is ...with a couple of caveats. It's simple to put together, which is good, because there are no instructions (I'll come back to that.) It's rugged-ish. It's light weight. And it does it's job keeping your air hoses off the floor (until you get a proper retractable hose reel). I have mine mounted to a wooden step stool (A-ID: B0BNHX3GRX) so it's portable; rather than mounting it to the wall. Just pick-up-and-carry. There are two problems: (1) The are no actual instructions in the instructions, either in the tool's assembly or use; it's all CYA legalese. (2) The stock 90° hose swivel is dangerously cheap, unfit for purpose and should immediately thrown away. (I suggest replacing it with A-ID: B003X417IE or equivalent).

For the price this is an excellent value. Don’t expect it to compare with $150 hose reels. IF you are looking for a light weight option for your garage or mobile air compressor this is excellent. Take your time assembling it and pay attention to how the base of that handle threads on so you don't accidentally unscrew it and have the whole thing fall apart. Use a good Teflon sealant on the fittings and don't cross thread them or over tighten them. Great for light use applications.

I like this manual hose reel better than my automatic retracting one! A lot cheaper too! Well made and easy to assembly. Holds more than 100ft too as others have stated. Easy to mount and hook up.

The reel is junk. I assembled it and mounted to the wall. I was winding my hose on it for the first time. I need to turn the handle in reverse for two or three turns. When I did the axel came loose and the sides sprung apart. I wanted to return it but I waited too long

Wall bracket is heavy duty, as are the forks that make up the spool and the hub. The handle is suspect as it remains wobbly, even when completely tightened down. The most disappointing part was the air swivel fitting. The pipe threads are standard and well formed, but the wrench flats are odd sized (15mm as opposed to 9/16" or 16mm) and the flats are so short that any normal wrench gets pinched between the fitting and the hub before the fitting is fully tightened. A stamped steel disposable wrench is needed, but not included. I replaced the provided swivel with and extra one I had in my toolbox with longer wrench flats. The crank handle threads into the hub, so be careful which direction you wind the hose on. Get it wrong and the handle unthreads instead of spooling the hose. Bottom line, it does function, did not leak once I installed a swivel that I could tighten, and really is a good value for the price.

I bought this for my son who has been looking for one for quite awhile. Perfect for his workshop.

Mire algunos comentarios negativos. Pero decídi darle una oportunidad y de primera mano parece de primera calidad. Yo la ocupe para agua potable a 40psi y hasta hoy no he tenido problemas de ningún tipo. Lo recomiendo.
