After a three hour surf session this morning I decided this product is worth a review.In short, it's awesome. Here's why:1. It works really well for chaffing. I put it on my armpits where my wetsuit rubs and it works amazing and lasts the entire time you're in the water.2. It lasts forever. I've had the same stick for like a year.3. It doesn't ruin your wetsuit, bathing suit, etc.10/10 would recommend to fellow surfers!

I bought this because a few weeks ago we went to Darien Lake and went swimming. Well because I have chubby legs they were chaffing like crazy! It hurt so bad it was ridiculous. But I read the reviews and thought "well it doesn't hurt to try." And today I put it to the test. I put it on before we got into the pool. And after we were done we walked around the amusement park to find a place to eat and ride some rides. This product is amazing. I didn't chaffe at all! I kept thinking that it wasn't going to work and that I'll probably feel the chaffing later. Well I didnt! I recommend this to anyone that has chaffing and that likes to enjoy the water but dreads walking after.

Works well enough, a little greasy right after application and after about 4 hours needs to be reapplied but that's to be expected and the greasiness wears off after about 10 minutes so it's just smooth and frictionless. Good for beach days because sand doesn't get stuck to it like Vaseline or oil based products.

*update* still enjoying this surfbutta. Have been taking my kids for water parks, use it on their thighs and around their waist (under their suit) and no more red thighs or waist after a long day of water play! And it stays on really well in the water. I want to tell so many people about this product, because they are walking funny because their thighs are hurting.*Original review*just as good as body glide, but body glide was out of stock and needed something to keep my thighs from rubbing. ordered this and worked great. I used it at a wedding (the rare time I wear a dress). And have used it every time I have gone on a long hike with the kids.I had been using body glide for years, but might switch to this permanently.

This stuff worked better than could imagine. I was skeptical at first as it almost felt restrictive, like it would be worse than not having it. But once it dries, you don't feel it. The real helpful aspect is that once it gets wet, it becomes slippery which is why it helps to protect. We used it on our 3 year old on the beach who had bad burns all the other times at the beach and it was AWESOME!!!. No pain and we actually became psuedo sales people on the beach for this stuff as other parents had a similar problem.

This is no better than balms I've made myself. Smells bad (probably she's butter- but ingredients are nowhere on the container). Texture grainy and not smooth. Definitely not long lasting- didn't last a short workday in September and I won't even bother to try it in high summer. Disappointing- I may use it as heel balm, but will not rely on it to soothe or prevent chafing.

This product is wonderful. My job involves being in an out of salt water for 40 hours a week and before I started using this I would often get chafing and little bumps on my inner thighs from the rubbing of salty shorts. I've been using it for over a year and I don't have any problems anymore. It is also great when I go hiking to keep shorts from sticking and my thighs from chafing.

Ive used glide(expensive) chafezone(gooey) and rocketpure. I work outdoors in houston texas so this type of product is a necessity for 8 months of the year due to heat and humidity. Surfbutta priced good but it seeps through clothing while the other 2 will not- chafezone comes close but it wont go all the way through to outside of ur clothing. If u are wearing a wetsuit or bikeshorts no problems but for me wearing my brown shorts everyday the rocketpure is just right. Hope this helps
