I have been using over bake clay for years and used multiple brands and kinds. This is my absolute favorite. It is always consistent in the consistency and finish. Always stays same size and in the same place after baking. It is not tacky and is easy to use once it’s as warm as your hands. Always finishes well with paint and can also be carved even after it’s baked. It is sand able and can be easily used for multiple projects. Bakes consistently and honestly holds together even if you burn it a bit. In my experience anyway because I have left it in my over a little longer than directed on multiple occasions and have always had it come out usable every time. Just have to watch your thickness and I build an armature that creates amazing durability. Especially if the piece needs to travel. I have also had wonderful detail always come out when pressing it into a mould. Just have to make sure you warm it in your hands because the more pliable it is the better your results dilll be and this clay holds shape and detail better than any other product I’ve used. The working time and ease is top notch with the super. It is superior to all of the other brands I’ve used. Because of all the positive things the clay provides it’s hard to find from time to time and also can be more pricey than many other kinds but it is beyond worth the extra money. This bundle of 3 packs is a great value. Shop around and you will find 1 pound of this going for over $20 so the 3 pack is saving you money while giving you plenty to work with. Price point aside it is well packaged and shipped perfectly. It’s always better to get more for your money and that is absolutely what you get here. Buy this and you will find yourself inspired to make more projects because you have plenty of the clay.

I love this clay for sculpting IF it is fresh and can be smoothed. I finally got a batch from this seller that was perfect. Yes, it was a little more expensive than some you can buy on Amazon, but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

It's not very durable after baking, but what are you going to do with your sculptures anyway? Play catch with them? This stuff is fun and easy to work with, and takes paint very well. With a few techniques in your back pocket, and a little knowledge from some ASTOUNDING artists on YouTube, let your imagination fly and start making things. It's fun, it's easy and meditative, and after some practice and growing more accustomed to the clay, you'll be surprised at what you can do. I've used this clay for years, and while I prefer the grey colored clay, and while I now use a few different clay media, I still continue to buy this original for specific areas of a sculpture because of its softness. I usually just mix in a little of the grey for the more neutral color. If you are even remotely interested in trying to sculpt your creations, do yourself a favor - buy a brick of this and try it.

I've never used a clay to make a cup before. I only make cups for friends and family about twice a year and this was my 1st themed 3d cup. First I tried another clay by another company. I was so frustrated with working with it I then tried this clay based off a recommendation. It was a game changer. I wasn't limited on the time to get my project done and I could add to it later. For example I made the face part first and then added the flowers later with glue. I like the fact I can take my time and them also add pieces to the project later. Also it allows for a smooth finished piece. Will buy this product again

This was a Christmas gift for our crafty daughter. It was on her Amazon gift list. Made it so much easier for this mom to get gifts for them that they wanted.

Great product and great price. I’ve used other, cheaper polymer clay and it just doesn’t compare to Sculpey. I will never use cheaper products again, Sculpey has a fantastic texture and the right consistency. You can shape and sculpt as you want it without having to worry about handling it.
