Recommended for cleaning live edge after peeling away bark. This set has 7 different grits to prevent over sanding. The flexible bristles clean the edge but does not reshape it. Great tool. Clockwise rotation only. Opposite direction unscrews brush from arbor.

These worked pretty ok for shou sugi ban t chnique. But one way the drill spins the nuts loose, and the other way it grabs the board, so be sure to clamp the work piece. For the price I'd say it's a pretty good buy, but it was annoying that the nut kept coming loose and the stacks of bristles would get jangly on the shaft. It could be ignorance on my part, but I didn't expect that to happen. That said, I'll buy more of these again. Probably use with a corded drill because 3 sq ft of wood killed 4ah of fresh cordless batteries, the technique creates a lot of friction.

I finally received the product. I already tried it. I do woodcarving and I have to do a lot of sanding. This product is perfect for my designs. Thanks for your help.

These work, I will give them that. If I was going to paint my project that is made out of cherry hardwood, they would be perfect. However, that is rather obviously not my plan since I used expensive hardwood for the build. Luckily. I tried this on a scrap profile before ruining my work. The wheels are blue, some sort of plastic apparently and they transfer the blue to your work-piece. I ran the wheel on several scraps thinking perhaps the blue would wear away but it seems to be within the fibers. The blue just keeps coming. So, I am keeping them because they do work, they just don't work for anything you want a non-opaque finish on. Deducting 2 stars because this should have been included in the description. In all fairness, it does say "for preparing wood for painting" but the blue bleed isn't mentioned. I think I am entitled to be picky since I am keeping them. Maybe have a use for them on something else.

These things won't sand anything. Don't waste your money. No matter how much you tighten them they just fall apart also.

Love the price and these are durable. Gets in tight places that a hand sander won’t like on scalloped trim. Sanded a whole desk with one wheel. Only complaint is if your got your drill going a certain direction the nut holding wheel in place comes undone but is a quick fix to retighten.
