Very happy with this purchase. These towels are a great size and I am so glad to find some quality flour sack type towels. I'm just so tired of everything being microfiber and plush. Give me kitchen towels like these that actually absorb moisture and are of a decent size to handle stuff in the kitchen. The colors look even better in real life.

Very nice and heavy towels.

These towels have a classic look but they are stiff and unyielding to use. I thought they might soften up after laundering but they didn’t. Should have returned them but I got busy with other things. I bought some others that were soft. Can’t recommend these.

Awesome towels, great size, they wash up beautifully. Absolutely great value for the money. Absorbent for drying hands or dishes and are lint free. I will repurchase these as well as gift them.

These were sturdy and took to machine embroidery very well. You have to make sure your design goes with the striping so you are a little limited. But if you know that when purchasing it wont be a problem.

For as far back as I can remember, I have been purchasing Aunt Martha’s products. I learned the gental art of embroidery from my Grandmother when I was 8 years old. She’s been gone for a long time, but never lost my love of creating beautiful things with needle and thread. Lacking my own ability to draw beautiful designs, I have tons of old and original patterns, and find that no other tea towels are close in quality to these. It’s no wonder their popularity survives. My favorite is the original multi stripe. When the towels become too stained to use everyday, the towel is still very useful. I cut off the embroidered portion and save for it for a patch work design to be done as an heirloom piece at a later time. The remaining portion makes wonderful cleaning rags. I am currently working on a valance for the window above my kitchen sink and decided that I wanted to incorporate some beautiful memories of my Grandmother. Aunt Martha’s towels were the perfect choice! And much more cost efficient than purchasing material that ends up a wrinkled mess after washing. I’m not sure about the coloring. I got the idea from a vintage linens embroidery book I purchased. I used crayola crayons, then used a pressing cloth to iron over them to set them into the linen. Hopefully, they hold up after laundering, if not, I made notes and kept the crayons for touch up if needed. I have ordered other brands of flour sack towels, but have often been disappointed by the quality. Some are way too thin, some are smaller than I like. I always launder before I start a project and some had hems that unraveled, some were way too wrinkled to even consider spending the time on them. I absolutely have to iron these towels after washing every time, but I enjoy it and prefer the crisp look. Aunt Martha’s towels have never let me down, and the price has stayed affordable, which is so important in this economy. Please note, the towels are very wrinkled in the pics. This is because it’s a big project I’ve been working on for months. They were perfect before I started carrying them around in my project case. I have no doubt that they will be perfect when my project is complete.

Good , ok, towel. Arrived in a clear Ziploc type bag with a label stuck to it. No outer packaging, I am amazed the clear bag made it to me with no problem, the towels are beige and if a tear would have been on there it would have been bad.

Lovely heavy weight and perfect feel. Toss in the washer and dryer for easy clean. I really like the look of the classic blue stripes.

They wash up beautifully and are absorbent.

Since the towel are 100% cotton, you will have to iron them if you want them wrinkle free. Personally, I like them as is, it's part of their charm!
