Awesome ultrashort throw projector
I was contemplating between this model and the laser version. Went with this since it a cheaper and stock was available. It didn’t disappoint me in terms of lumens.I can still watch is a room in the day with my blinds pulled down, picture is colourful and bright.But I also realise that sharpness depends on the source. YouTube videos and photos from phone are not as sharp as I hope to be. Feels like fake 1080 resolution.But video streamed from Netflix and Disney+ are perfect. I use a google chrome cast dongle to watch these.Audio as most say is not amazing but it is enough for me. For people who likes the bass, yes you need to connect to a better speaker system or BT headset. But thankfully projector is so quiet, its own speaker is sufficient for me.

Unexpectedly really good
Super fast and easy to setup. I was expecting okay, but i was pleasantly surprised. Picture quality is good even in a moderately lit room. The remote control with the pointer makes it so easy to navigate quickly.The only negative I would say is the WebOS LG content store is lacking compared to what you get on Samsung or Google TV. In Canada, Disney+ was not available in the WebOS LG content store.

Sooo cool. Max size on my wall is 120 inches. I am happy and would recommend this product. Still learning the remote. The built in speaker needs to get adjusted through the use of built in equalizer to enjoy the sound.

Great short throw... likes a dark room
I've used projectors for over 20 years and LOVE them. In the house I'm in now, I have a narrow room and not much room for throwing an image on the screen. A short throw was my only option. This projector fit the bill... it's got a great picture, super short throw distance, and some good smart options.On the downside, it's a LITTLE outdated on the smart tv options, and it does require a darker room than normal. Reminds me of the early generation projectors when it comes to how dark the room needs to be.Negatives- Requires a darker room- Slightly outdated software that LG doesn't update anymorePositives- Super short throw distance for a big screen- Great picture- Solid built in speaker- Easy setup- Built in smart features are a nice bonus- Remote is super cool with the "magic" functionI don't have much experience with short throw projectors but I do love this one... just wish it was a TOUCH brighter in light situations.
