Works perfectly! Peace of mind after pool worries
Exactly what we needed! We moved into a new house with a pool and worried about our beagle & boxer falling in. About 3 weeks in, the beagle slipped in while we were eating dinner outside so I was able to pull her out but it was a huge wake-up call! I did a ton of research and couldn't find anything (cost effective) that would give us comfort leaving them outside without supervision. I luckily found safety turtle here and its works great! We don't get any false alarms like some reviews say - it's actually very simple, get it wet and it goes off! Not sure how that can be a negative? Our dogs lay in the grass, play in wooded areas, drink from water bowls etc all with no tripping of the alarm. I took the beagle in the pool and put her collar back on while her fur was still a wet which set it off but the sensitivity seems perfectly normal to me (that's the point right?!). Great product and it's very small - our beagle is 20lbs and also has a whistle tracker. I was worried about it being too much gear on her collar but the turtle is super light and tiny. It attaches by vecro but seems to be strong enough that wouldn't fall of from them playing. Overall, way more reliable compared to a pool spash detector or another similar setup

Great product
This is the first time writing a review. I love it for my bulldogs. I have a pool and within it have a sun shelf made just for my dogs. However, sometimes they have fallen into the deeper water and most bulldogs cant swim very well leaving me to watch them diligently while outside in the fenced yard and pool area. I purchased this and love it. I put it on my one dog and sure enough, she fell into the pool - the alarm system went off and boy is it loud! It is sensitive too as my dogs were playing together and one put his mouth on the "turtle" and it went off! I feel a lot better knowing that they have this! Very happy.

Great product
This is a great product! Easy to put on my dogs ' collars and is sensitive enough to detect small amounts of liquid. It even sets the alarm off when my dogs are playing and one of them licks it by mistake. The only thing negative I can say about this is the alarm isn't as loud as I would like. If I was outside in my driveway and the dogs fell in the pool in the back yard, I wouldn't be able to hear the alarm going off in the house. But it's plenty loud if I'm in the house.

Peace of Mind
After having our elderly schnauzer drowned in our pool, we purchased this for our other 2 dogs. They don’t show interest in the pool, but neither did he. We just feel better knowing they have them on if they accidentally fall in. The only annoying thing is that it occasionally goes off when the dogs are playing and the big one mouths the smaller ones neck. On the other hand, it is good to know that such a small amount of moisture sets it off. Bite the bullet and spend the money. Better safe than sorry!

works great, very sensitive alarm
I would give this 5 stars, but the turtles are way too sensitive. This product works GREAT! It does it job but my dog licking it will set it off. We have 3 small dogs (all under 10 pds) when they are playing or one licks the other one it sets off the alarm. The alarm is VERY loud, which is good if you live in a bigger home with a second story. We put the turtle on one of my mothers dog when they came to visit because he is elderly and somewhat blind. He walked right off the edge of the pool into the water twice during the week visit and both times the alarm went off and we were able to go get him from the pool. Again......I would give it 5 stars but the alarm keeps going off at the slightest bit of moisture. My dog was in the bathroom while my daughter took a shower, the moisture in the room set the alarm off. But Yes, I would recommend this product.

Well worth the cost a GREAT product
Great product, our new dog slipped into the deeper end of the pool the very first day we let him in the back yard and the alarm worked perfectly. Very impressive, i highly recommend this sensor to anyone who has a pool and pets. one improvement would be change the alarm tone, it is loud enough but sounds like our smoke alarm, a pulsating sound would be an improvement. This is a minor thing overall we love the product

New house old dog
My wife and sue it’s got a new house with a pool. We have two dogs one of them getting old and slow. He is losing his eyesight and we were worried he was going to accidentally fall in and not be able to get out. I looked at a ton of things for this problem but this looked like the best choice. While nether of our dogs have fallen in the pool my wife likes to pull them in against those will. We have made these go off numerous times and they are working just fine.

Please do not totally rely on the Turtle to work on your pets.
I wrote this with a heavy heart. I purchased the Safety Turtle on 06-28-2019 for my two small dogs. I put them on both collars immediately as my little 18 year old Jack Russell Jazzie wasn’t seeing all the well and had walked into the pool of my new home several times. I thank God I was outside with her each time. The Turtles were working fine although Jazzie’s would go off on its own at times. I just assumed she was getting it wet when she drank water. Fast forward to Tuesday, September 14th 2020...little Jazzie had a rough two days with her pancreatitis flaring again so I left the patio door on my bedroom open so she could go outside like she always did, I checked the Turtle after I took her outside. I realized after some time she wasn’t in the house and realized she had gone over by the pool and had fallen I’m with the Turtle totally submerged under water and it was too late. The guilt I have is horrible because I didn’t shut the door to the patio and sadly the Turtle didn’t sound the alarm. After I pulled her out of the water and was holding my sweet little pup in a towel In the house the alarm went off 3 different times. Today I ran water over the Turtle that was still attached to her empty collar the alarm did not go off. I was given a false hope of security so please do not rely on the Turtle to be a guardian.
