Great item at a great price
This is absolutely universal for left or right hand installation. Installed easily and works like it is supposed to! Iโm glad to have this latch on my pool gate so that it will prevent small children from gaining access to our pool in the event that we are not outdoors or home.

Easy to Install
I have been using this brand for a few years now for an inground pool we put in 4 years ago. We recently added 2 additional gates this summer and used this same brand. Same build quality as before, and installed in minutes.

Great latches and support
I bought and installed the 10โ and 22โ inch latches. The 22โ had a problem with the key and lock mechanism. Emailed Safetech support and had a replacement in less than a week. Both latches work great. Highly recommend.

Easy to install, works great so far looks sturdy and was able to install high enough to meet the new front lock regulations for pool gates in Quebec. An added safety layer to a conventional lock is that if there is pressure on the gate (like a child climbing) even if you reach the latch it will not open there needs to be no pressure on the latch for it to work.
