The unit was simple to set up and adjust. Because it uses friction joints there are no metal fittings that could corrode. So far it is working well. The instructions say to put the beveled edge at the level you want the pool to be; there is no indication what the beveled edge is, but I found that the bottom of the black box seems to be appropriate. The unit is so noisy when it is on that I may turn it off while people are swimming. The adjustable hose swivel makes connection extra easy. I found it worth the price. One advantage of this unit is that if there is a leak in the hose connection the water will go into the pool rather than forming a puddle on the deck. As long as the float valve keeps working I'm going to be much happier with this unit.

Overall this is a great item. Does exactly what I needed - auto fill a pond. Impossible to find this kind of thing in France. The adjustable "feet" adapt well to the slightly uneven paving of my pond. The valve opens and closes as required. The height adjust is super practical, as is the fact that the valve box swivels left/right on the height adjust pole. My use case is not the intended swimming pool one, so the minimal heigh adjustment between the feet and the valve box was a bit limit. To get around this, I raised the feet an inch above the paving of my pond giving me a little more clearance above the water level and allowing a perfect height adjustment. One negative: the separate angle adjustable joint (which is provided for free with the unit) is a nice idea, but is not very necessary and did not seal well with the unit when screwed onto it (maybe I should have added a rubber o-ring). I just attached my hose direct to the unit instead of using the angle joint and this works fine with no water leaks from the joint. Overall the quality appears very sturdy. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I no longer need to worry about evaporation lower my pool level below the swimmers. This does an excellent job of maintaining a consistent water level. I installed a faucet near the side of the pool and purchased a stainless steel wrapped hose to connect the filler to the faucet. This makes it easy to remove for winterizing. I highly recommend this product as long as you have a faucet reasonably near the pool.

This water leveler product is very easy to set up and get going! Thoughtful copper fitting. My first purchase lasted years. Most importantly, I had received excellent and timely Seller support.

Product works as advertised. Very pleased with it. The only problem I had was there was no mention that the hose you used for this product needed to be one with brass fittings. While waiting for your product to be delivered, bought a hose without brass fittings. Upon opening your package, that is when it was revealed what type of hose you needed. Big oversight on your part.

Have had many different auto pool fillers over the last 30 years. Most break down completely by the sun and elements in a few years - so have replaced many. I decided to give this one a try after reading the reviews. It appeared much more sturdy than the plastic-housed ones that had moving parts that would stick and malfunction. Loved this product. Hassle free and dependable. Easy to install. Easy to adjust. Very good value for the price. Recently, it started to run constantly. When I took a look at it, the valve leading to the unit appeared to be worn down- most likely because of the constant high water pressure it was under. I contacted the seller directly, sent in some photos of the problem and ordered a repair kit. The replacement was fast and the fix was easy. They even sent a new part with upgraded materials that will not erode because of the water pressure. Extremely nice family owned company. Absolutely recommend them and this product.

Easy to install and works as advertised. In less than 5 minutes, I installed the Staypoollizer 2.0 a few weeks ago, and I haven't had to fill the pool manually since. Prior to installation, I was watering manually a few times a week. On windy days, pool waves trick the product into thinking the level is too low and cause the water level to rise a little, so that's something to consider when setting the level. For additional stability, we set a landscape brick on the product, and to shelter it from direct afternoon sun, we set it beside the raised spa deck. I appreciate the ability to work with multiple deck profiles and being able to set it wherever I want. I'm even happier about the convenience and the peace of mind the Staypoollizer provides me.
