I comparison shopped for vacuum seal bags for about a week before deciding on this one, and I am COMPLETELY satisfied with it! It works great in both of the different sealers I have. The amount you get for the price is more than most of the others, and they don't skimp on the quality. I am extremely happy with every aspect of this product! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. I honestly find this one is way better than the name brand ones I have tried. It's thicker, and like I said before, you get way more.

They send "gift card" look- a -like saying you're "Amazon's lucky customer" getting a free $15 gift card (on front side) w your order. Back side of card is diff story saying for "fair" review you get the $. A fair review nets you $0. Saying they're"good bags" gets you promised $10..then is changed to $9.26 after PayPal fee. Changing to " great bags" gets you $9.26 and offer (of lie for them) and they'll send "salt & pepper shakers" which look very CHEAP & ugly. Poor bussiness. Bag itself is textured more than reg bags on side 1, but it's only raised higher texturing, not thicker/better quality. The other side is quite thin. Wevac bags are thicker both sides sold on Amazon too. Will be buying those..they don't tout "heavyduty" (but are good quality) or play jack- you bait & switch lies. They wanted a "fair" review- now they got one.

This product was a great buy! Im currently using it to freeze ground venison, by the pound. I pre wrapped and froze before sealing in these bags, as to eliminate moisture in the sealing process. They all sealed beautifully! The two rolls also come with a handy razor for cutting to your desired size, and a booklet of labels. I will absolutely be buying these again.

I use a lot of vacuum sealing material and it's far more economical to make your own pouches from these rolls than to buy them pre-made. Plus, it's very easy to do. I'm really impressed with the low cost of these rolls which are nonetheless very well made, deelply embossed with the required waffle texture to draw out the air. However, the plastic is just a bit thinner than what I typically use. For almost all applications, that won't be a problem. But for very long-term storage in the fridge or freezer, I'll still keep a roll of thicker material on hand. But for 90%+ of my needs, this material is fantastic and really affordable. I also love the fact that the rolls are individually wrapped. That way, while the second roll is in storage waiting for the first one to get used up it will stay clean and fresh. I definitely recommend this product - it's the least expensive way to vacuum seal your leftover, speed up marinades (the vacuum drives the flavors into your meat, fish, or veggies), or even protect your silverware, stamps, and other valuables. It's also suitable for sous vide cooking, from poaching lobster tails to tempering chocolate. I told you - I use a lot of this stuff, and the price is right!

I purchased this product as the usual provider of my food storage bags continues to increase their price, and I have noticed a decline in quality. I have been using a food sealer for about 10 years; mostly to freeze stored food. When spending time, effort and funds to store food, I want a bag that works. Thus far, the bags are performing as expected. I will try to update this in a month or so. I did notice that the thickness is a little less than my usual provider (hence the 4 stars on that). When I prepare the stored food, I will know if it has any impact on the food flavor or texture.

I thought having one side textured to allow better evacuation was a good idea. I just got a used One-Touch vacuum sealer where the heat sealer is triggered automatically by a vacuum switch that only turns it on when sufficient vacuum is reached. I found that if I followed the machine instructions and cut off a piece from the roll, then it's impossible to seal the first edge because the embossed texture lets air flow in through the bag so it never gets enough vacuum to switch on the sealer.However the workaround is to seal the first edge BEFORE cutting the bag off the roll, then put in the food or whatever, then seal the final edge. My machine pulls a strong vacuum, and the embossed texture lets it really get all the air out before heat sealing the bag. I guess some machines have a separate way to activate the sealer directly. This is my first machine, bought at flea mkt. for $5.
