Amazing!
This low friction tape is amazing! My house is 70 years old with its original kitchen cabinets. The drawers have just a wood track under a wood drawer. They have always been difficult to open and close. Also, because it’s just wood on wood, there has always been sawdust in everything underneath a drawer. While I was looking for some kind of solution to this problem I discovered this tape! It is amazing!! All I did was put a strip of tape along the length of the wood track under the drawers and a little piece in each corner of my drawer opening and now they open and close with no difficulty! Yay! And no more sawdust either! This tape is a game changer! I just like opening and closing the drawers for no reason now! Lol! The video shows two drawers….the first one I haven’t put the tape on yet and the second drawer is with the tape. Note: The tape only needs to be applied to one side. I tested it by putting tape on the bottom of the drawer as well as the track and when the tape is sliding against itself it isn’t better and actually makes it slide less easily plus it makes a kind of zipper sound.

Worked to reduce friction against rough sliding surface.
I used this to reduce friction on the sliding parts of an "electric snow shovel". Where I would have expected a wheel, the manufacturer provided only a sliding surface (polypropelene? ABS?). I put a layer of this tape on, and the shovel moved more easily over the ground. Adhesive was good enough, but I expect it will need to be replaced often due to the abrasion.

Excellent product!
This is the real deal! I've tried using solid dimensional UHMW bar and round stock, the problem I've found is the extrusion process results in warped and lumpy stock unsuitable for precision sliding surfaces. Using aluminum or steel stock, then applying this tape, results in very straight, flat and slippery surfaces. My comparison of metal-to-metal, metal-to-taped-metal, and taped-metal-to-taped-metal indicated that tape-to-tape is, by a wide margin, the most slippery of the bunch. As with any self-adhesive tape, surface cleanliness is vital to a strong, uniform bond. It doesn't hurt to develop an application approach which eliminates the need to re-position the tape; one-and-done is best. Removing trapped air bubbles with this tape is quite difficult, not impossible near the edges, in the middle it's probably better to start over. Highly recommended!

Okay
I purchased this after experiencing continued bleeding post–deviated septum surgery. Good quality and effective. Took a star off because I sometimes had trouble with it sticking to my skin. I ended up purchasing another brand that suited my needs better.

Great for jig building, super slick, and very strong adhesive
Really works well for jig building where sliding parts are needed, It is super slick, and has some of the strongest adhesive I've ever seen in a tape. It comes in various lengths, widths, and thicknesses. I actually used a piece of 10 mil as a "shim" on a length of t-track in an slightly oversize miter slot on a jobsite table saw. Worked perfectly!

Perfect Mouse Repair Solution
I love my Apple mouse. It's outlasted every other mouse I've had, and works well on my desk's surface without a mouse pad. But recently, I noticed a lot of wear between the wear pads on its underside, with a wear pattern in the metal around the sensing lens (see photo). To prevent any additional wear, I applied 2 strips of this tape between the two long wear pads on the mouse's underside, notching it out to fit around the sensing lens and charging port (see photos). The tape features an excellent adhesive, and shows no signs of loosening. The mouse is now working beautifully, and the tape is so slick, the mouse feels like it's moving more fluidly than ever. A new Apple mouse costs about $83 with tax, while the tape cost only $7.87 including tax. My total saving was around $75 - not bad for about 15 minutes of my time. And there's plenty of tape left on the roll...

Works great for drawers
Our pantry drawers didn’t slide easily (wood on wood) but this fixed it.

Not for my drapes
I have an eight foot drape that I manually open and close. The top of the drape has grommets. It's difficult to pull closed and I noticed that the metal in the grommets was hanging up on the rod but if I gave it a good pull it would move. I bought this tape to put on the rod to help the drape slide back and forth. I was hopeful but sadly it didn't help at all. The tape is easy to apply and disappears once I put it on the rod. Good things but didn't work for me.

Good adhesion, does what it's meant to do!
Purchased this UHMW tape to replace the heatshrink that Spektrum puts on their radio gimbals tension springs. The factory uses heatshrink and lubricant to reduce wear and friction. This is great for fixed wing aircraft, but when flying rotorcraft, the stiction when making extremely small inputs is to high and leads to erratic altitude changes. This UHMW gets rid of the stiction and allows me to run a higher spring tension while still being ultra smooth.

Very good
Got this to put under the edges of timber draws to they would run smoothly and it worked perfectly. Got a second roll to finish the whole dresser.

Excellent Drawer Slides
My house was built in 1940 and I'm pretty sure the kitchen cabinets were built with the house. I was tired of having wood dust all over the items we keep in the kitchen drawers. I looked into every drawer slide that has been invented to try to fix the issue but I would have had to rebuild the drawers to make them fit. I did try the wax and it did work for a time, but eventually I ended up with wood dust in my drawers again. My husband suggested Teflon sheets but I found that to be expensive. I came across this tape while looking for alternatives. It was recommended in a few different woodworking forums and the price was right. I decided to give it a try. I have not been disappointed! The tape was pretty easy to apply. The backing can be a bit difficult to remove but I found if you don't have a clean cut edge it makes it easier to remove. I bought enough to apply to both the drawer and the cabinet. I took the handle of my scissors and rubbed the tape all over to ensure maximum adhesion to the wood. So far it's holding up and it's been a couple of months. The drawers slide better, there's no squeaking that comes with two pieces of wood rubbing together, there hasn't been any wood dust all over our utensils and cooking gadgets, and I didn't have to rebuild the drawers. If you have old wood on wood drawers I highly recommend this tape over wax or drawer slides.
